Why didn't the assassin just shoot through the bathroom door instead of trying to open it?  Some of the shots would have hit them.  People shoot through doors and walls all the time on shows.  This show gets more unbelievable every time I flip it on.  And a black ex-President?  What alternate Earth is this show on?

So you don't even watch the show yet you felt compelled to criticize. If you would have watched you would have seen what happened, and how your brilliant analysis was taken into account by the writers. While this show was plenty of holes, that was not one of them.

Yes, a lot of logic is taking it on the chin in this show. But I love the action and the tension, and I think the writers are making an effort to be more "honest" (I didn't say logical) as this year winds down. If you remember the Wayne/Sherry subplots from last year you know what I mean.

Ever notice how whenever trained, professional CTU agents get sent out as bodyguards or escorts, which looks like exactly what they should be good at, they get blown up right away? Chloe's detachment last night; the squad that couldn't get MaryLu the mole (or whatever her name was) through the parking lot about six hours ago.

Best Jack moment of the year so far: "This will help you with the pain."

There's nothing good on at 8pm Mondays, so I sometimes turn on 24, hoping it will live up to the hype some people give it and be better than the last time I tried it. Once again last night I was disappointed by the lack of plausibility. Time to get another book to read on Monday nights.

Considering its on at 9pm I can understand why you have a tough time following the show.

I liked how the terrorist at the end was acting like a robot, Terminator style, trying to kill Chloe. I was hoping for the neighbor to put a beat down on him, that would have been good TV.

I started watching the show this year and really like it. Yes, you have to suspend your disbelief a little, but the show is fast paced and suspenseful.

BTW, it's been about 18 hours so far, and I haven't seen anyone go to the bathroom yet. And also, with all the tension, I would think that several would need a shower by now.

Also, I guess being an unnamed CTU agent is a little bit like camp fodder. They get disposed of quickly.

Not to mention that when they have NO OTHER LEADS to finding a NUCLEAR WEAPON, they send a desk monkey analyst and ONLY TWO agents to pick up a possible source. Yeah, that's likely. :o

I'm surprised they don't wear red shirts.

'Zactly. Can't you just see them sitting in a room playing "Paper, Scissors, Rock" for who's going to head out on the next "mission"?

I have some burning problems. It started with last night. It goes from the great line from Jack, "this will help with the pain", and the very NEXT SECOND... he is in the treatment room with bandages around his fingers. He is having his head looked at.... what the heck!!! How in the world did all that happen in a few seconds?? Shouldn't he have been still unconscious in the car??

Secondly, what happened to Barooz. Will we ever find out?

Thirdly, where is Heller? Is he stuck on the toilet with diarreaha?

Someone, please answer these questions for me.

An assasin must be sure he killed his target which by the way was the computer more than Chloe

the human element always gets bad guys because the bad guys cannot control human nature , for example, the engineers girl friends suspicion. If human nature did not intervene then the bad guys would always win and without the unanticipated happening by actors and viewers alike there is no show. it would be get a bomb, light a bomb, watch bomb explode. Plausible? perhaps but boring for certain

q:1) 24 is in part cut into by commercial. My vote is dead in the car not unconscious.

q2)Unless Barooz knows something he is a non factor.

q3)Heller could not have been around for the extra-legal hi jinks that transpired. The official focus shifted to White House. Again this is a 24 hour show that has sub-plots and love triangles and institutional jealousies. every body needs face time.

I've been saying for four years now that I'd at least like to see somebody yawn. I also think we should be seeing paper coffee cups someplace. Maybe the lack of coffee cups explains the lack of bathrooms.

BTW, if you watched the last episode of the first year you saw a bathroom scene. That's where Nina offed Terry (Jack's wife).

Boy for a world-class terrorist, this marwan guys certainly seems to have a hard time keeping his own house in order.

Think of all his own people that have either turned on him or ratted him out.

The look on his face when he looked in the vent camera and realized that CTU had found him again, was priceless. Especially after giving that smug speech in front of the camera.

Actually, they've done a far better job portraying the terrorists accurately than they have with the government.

It's funny how some people look at a black president on a TV show and cry about realism, while others look at it with hope.
