The Poojer Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 i saw them last night at World Cafe Live in Philly and they electrified the place with a kick ass rockin', bluesy 2 hour set. Their new CD is VERY bluesy and plays well live. They also played all their older stuff as well. The lead singer epitomizes the phrase 'dance like no one is watching'. If you get a chance go see them, I think you will be impressed(if you like that kind of music)

Jauronimo Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 The price is right, a free show. Free isn't enough. They're going to have to sweeten the pot if they expect me to step outside and walk across the street.

I saw Spin Doctors many years ago in Saratoga (opened up for Gin Blossoms) and they were awesome. I'd love to see the Smithereens, though.

Buftex Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I won't be there (sorry fellas!), but would recommend the English Beat and Chuck Prophet off that list, along with the afirementioed Smithereens.
