RyanC883 Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 It looks like the Steelers won't resign Max Starks. He stated that he has had talks with a "few" teams. He also wants to be a starter. I think he could easily take over Levitre's spot. Anyone know if the Bills have contacted him? http://triblive.com/sports/steelers/3972378-74/starks-steelers-team#axzz2SpTImOG9

If we wanted a free agent lineman we should have just signed the one that we had"

Who was the last player we drafted, developed, then lost to free agency? PTR Edited May 10, 2013 by PromoTheRobot
Kirby Jackson Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 (edited) "Why draft You act like there has been a parade of players leaving. PTR I was just posting a common complaint (sarcasm). There has not been guys leaving but go back through any thread where ppl reference the OL and you will find complaints about letting Levitre walk. Every time a guy leaves (which hasn't happened a lot lately) everyone on here complains. Edited May 10, 2013 by Kirby Jackson

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 1) he is a tackle, so not sure how he would be a replacement for levitre at guard. Is he able to play guard? 2) seems like there is a similar article about Starks every year, and every year the steelers are forced to re-sign him due to injuries.
benderbender Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Championship!! Dooooooooomed!!! "It's hard to choose an overly repeated exclamation in the NFL." - Dick Jauron
DDD Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 (edited) You act like there has been a parade of players leaving. Who was the last player we drafted, developed, then lost to free agency? PTR The Bills go thru more DB's than toilet paper in a public restroom. The earliest I remember is Nate Odomes followed by Jeff Burris, Thomas Smith, Ken Irving, Kurt Schultz, Antoine Winfiled, Nate Clements, Jabrari Greer and Jim Leonard (free agents) and Donte Whitner. And I believe they cut Henry Jones so I won't include him. Edited May 10, 2013 by Mr. Wonderful

1B4IDie Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 New one I've seen over and over now. "He was very good not dominant . . . No wonder why the Steelers let him walk.
