Who cares?

i was just about to say... Who cares???

I know that we have a ridiculous amount of hunters and fishermen in the area but if we were really pinning hopes on a freaking hunting store to help lift an economy and bring us to the main stage again, the. We are dumber than we thought. We're also in worse shape than we thought as well.

This. I've been to several Bass Pro stores and they are basically overpriced department stores for the outdoors. It would have flopped in downtown Buffalo.

Just about everything I can get at Bass Pro, I can get at Wal-Mart for less money.

I can appreciate the amount of effort it takes to create that decor and store.

Thread title is a little misleading. An 80,000 sq.ft. Bass Pro is more like a convenience store than a mega store. (Anything called a Bass Pro 'Outpost' is a mini-store) 80K is their tiny store size. The average Bass Pro is 150K and some stores are 300-400K. Their HQ store in Springfield MO is going to be 750K when they finish it.
