Buffalo Barbarian Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Johny Manziel, Da'Rick Rogers, Kiko Alonzo, JJ Watt
San Jose Bills Fan Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I can't understand the lack of respect for Garrison Sanborn
John Gianelli Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Saban Kemp OJ Bruce first two on results, second two on ability
eball Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 If we exclude Ralph and coaches and base this purely on performance/legacy, I'd have to go with OJ, Kelly, Thurman, Bruce
EasternOHBillsFan Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 amazing people can leave Thurman Thomas out- he's the best player we've ever had. Thurman--Bruce Smith--Jim Kelly--.......____________ you could go Reed, OJ, Joe D, Tasker or even Hull....I would go Tasker Without Ralph Wilson, there would be no Buffalo Bills, or an Oakland Raiders, etc... look past the over 90 year old man we see (or don't see) today...
BringBackFergy Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I can't understand the lack of respect for Garrison Sanborn ^ This. Well said.
macaroni Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Ralph Wilson Jr. (the man who made it all happen) Ritchie Lucas (the first Buffalo Bill) Jack Kemp (the first QB to win a league championship) Jim Kelly (the last QB to win a conference championship) And I would leave a featureless clump of rock next to Jim's just to remind us that we should always be looking for the NEXT great QB.
BringBackFergy Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Wait...I thought this was a thread about the nickname for our defensive line. I believe Mt. RUSHmore was the name we all agreed on last year. Or was that the nickname other team's running backs called our DLine..."hey guys, we're playing the Bills this week so we can RUSHmore"
xsoldier54 Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Who would be on yours? Jim Kelly, Jack Kemp, O.J., Bruce Smith
papazoid Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 (edited) in order: (excepting ralph, emphasis on how they dominated their position compared to others in league at same position): #1- Ralph Wilson #2- Bruce Smith (11 time All-Pro and defensive POY twice). #3- O.J. Simpson (DQ'd) (5 time All-Pro). #4- Joe DeLamielleure (6 time All-Pro). #5- Thurmon Thomas (3 time All-Pro and league MVP). #6- Andre Reed (2 time All-Pro) #7- Jim Kelly (3 time All-Pro) #8- Cookie Gilchrist (3 time All-Pro). #9- Cornelius Bennett ( 3 time All-Pro and was twice the AP Defensive Player of the Year). #10- Steve Tasker (5 time Pro-Bowler). Honorable Mentions: Talley, Kemp, Shaw, Dubenion, Moorman Edited May 8, 2013 by papazoid
DrDawkinstein Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Now if we had that many QBs this franchise would be much different. And that is exactly what I was getting at.
mrags Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Would have to be all running back - it is called Mount RUShmore if that's the case, then it's OJ, Thurman, Cookie, and... CJ??? Or maybe OJ, Thurman, Freddy, CJ?
26CornerBlitz Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Mine is Orenthal James Simpson, Bruce Smith, Jim Kelly, and Lou Saban.
mrags Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 How bout we construct this of the ugliest Bills of all time. I'm going with Talley, Smerlas, Henry, Mitchell Or maybe the biggest busts of all time. In that case I'm going with Williams, Maybin, Flowers, McCargo.
