BB King has the answer for not only Mario Williams but all men in general.

Don't ever trust a woman

Until she's dead and buried

Yes don't ever trust a woman

Until she's dead and buried

One day she'll say that she loves you

And the next day she'll throw you in the street

She'll smother you with kisses

When her birthday comes around

But as soon as she gets her presents

She'll down talk you all over over town

No don't ever trust a woman

Until she's dead and buried

One day she'll say that she loves you

And the next day she'll throw you in the street

She'll beg you for clothes and diamonds

Until you're all in hock

And then you'll come home one mornin'

And your key won't fit the lock

Don't ever trust a woman

Until she's dead and buried

Well, one day she'll say that she loves you

The next day she'll throw you in the street

She'll call you every mornin'

Every mornin' noon and night

She'll call you in between times

Just to see if you're doin' alright

She'll ask to borrow five

And then she'll beg for ten

And baby that five and ten

You won't ever see again!

Man don't ever trust a woman

Until she's dead and buried

One day she'll say that she loves you

And the next day she'll throw you in the street

Court records say the "defendant never intended to marry plaintiff and used the relationship as a means to get to plaintiff's money and acquire gifts."

Williams also alleges he purchased more than $230,000 in luxury items for his former fiancée and also gave her a credit card where he claims she charged more than $108,000 in less than a year.

Hope she doesn't end up ground up and in the freezer.

A little Fargo like wood chipper action...

This goes to show how big money distorts perspective and how easy it is for these guys to go through it like candy.

It is no wonder that some big name and big dollar ball players end up broke.

Unless it's a girl you've known since high school or you have a pre-nup, why get married if you are a millionaire? Love, I guess? If I was in their positions, I'd just go the Jeter route and maybe get one past the goalie to let my name live in.

Mario isn't the first or the last to get taken to the cleaners by a gold-digger. Hopefully he's learned his lesson.

He needs to get on the "pay-as-you-go" plan. Much cheaper!

What a horrible article. No mention of the cop cars he bought for Houston with his own money. Or the charity he gives to and works with.

Very interesting. Ultimate issue will hinge on whether he broke off the engagement or if she broke off the engagement. Under majority rule, if the recipient of the ring broke off the engagement, then the donor is entitled to recover the ring. That's ultimately what this case will hinge on and that's why Williams has been explicit in his complaint that she, not he, broke off the engagement.

As always, there's probably more to the story.

Have to say I'm surprised somewhat. Mario gave the impression he's smarter than this and more responsible.

I guess not..

Not the 1st guy to exercise poor judgement when it pertains to women. I'll give him a pass.
