The Voice of Truth Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 (edited) It seems the optimisim on the board has skyrocketed with the new regime and now a new QB. Has Russ Brandon worked his marketing magic again or are we justly optimistic? I mean I must admit I'm hopeful, but ESPN has us at 30 in the power rankings. A lot of people are saying Manuel was a major stretch as a first rounder and it took fans a lot of convincing themselves to like the Marrone hire. Are we just wanting to believe the BS again and are just as gullible as they come? Edited May 5, 2013 by The Voice of Truth

buffaloboyinATL Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I feel some exciting football coming our way, and hopefully a return to respectability.
Gray Beard Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 How about "Cautiously Optimistic" or "I Predict a Better W/L Record than Last Year"
billsfan89 Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 We are suckers until proven otherwise. Its just hard to buy into anything without seeing any results.
The Voice of Truth Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 I thought people might want more options and I thought about putting them but you can't pick both or take a "wait and see" approach or "cautiously optimistic". What fun is that? If I put those everybody would pick the safe ones. I want some real answers. Man up and make a prediction.

Alaska Darin Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 "Watch me pull a rabbit out of a hat!" "But that trick NEVER works." "Nothing up my sleeve. PRESTO!. I think I'm going to need a new hat." This time for sure.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I don't think we make the playoffs....this year....but I feel pretty darn confident that we put a respectable product on the field this year. I like the direction this team is heading. This coaching staff has a much different feel to it, I LOVE what I've seen from Doug Marrone, and I really feel that we will be a serious contender within the next 2-3 years. Maybe I'm a sucker?
AJ1 Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 (edited) If we lose this year it won't be because we have a HC who thinks a lame arm QB is a starter and also apparently knew nothing about what consituted a valid defense in the modern NFL. Things have to be better. If we lose, it won't be because of stupidity. Edited May 6, 2013 by AJ1
Green Lightning Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 It's time for the willing suspension of disbelief. After 50 years of fandom, the beast of the Bills flies into my world anew and softly alights. A little bit of Milton mixed with Jim Jones and I'm freakin' pumped for the season!
PromoTheRobot Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 We're suckers! It's all a scam to get us to buy tickets. New coaches, new players, same results. GAHHHH!!! 13 years no playoffs!!! RALPH IS CHEAP!!! GAHHHH!!! PTR
Mark Vader Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I'd like to answer: "Both" +1 We are BILLS fans. We always have hope. Love BILLS football. +1
