Casey D Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 During the introduction of yesterday's GB/Minn game, Fox in Washington, DC was covering the moment of silence for Reggie White. In the middle of the moment of silence, Fox cut to a commercial for Levitra or something. Was that done everywhere? Was this Fox's commentary on a moment of silence for White, or what happened?
Just Jack Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 That happened on the channel I was watching also. I don't remember what commercial it was though.
aussiew Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 I'm wondering if they cut to commercial because people started a Reggie cheer after a few seconds of silence. BTW - I've never liked that phrase "moment" of silence. Exactly how long is a moment?? Why don't they say "minute" so that everyone knows how long the moment will last.
