If you're referencing the fly wire collar, it's still there. Just not on Nike replica jersies

Nope, I think they're referencing the collar (the huge white band that is totally out of place) as seen on Vince Young (above).

Soooooooooooooooooooooooo how does this work? I thought you were allowed a uni-change like once every five years. Did they just scrap the new design, one year later?

I mean, they were pretty much universally panned and hated the league-over. So, I wouldn't be shocked if Nike pulled a switcheroo. I just thought that was against the rules, for fans' sake...

The on field jerseys are the same as last year. The replicas are the same as last year.

The on field jerseys and the replicas are not the same.

Correct. It's a shame they can't or won't fix this, though. I noticed the Miami and Minnesota "updates" both did away with the multicolored collars.

Those collars remind me of my old boss at an insurance company. He had a blue shirt with that ugly white collar.

They should just make that white collar blue & be done with it.

Like Robert Kraft wears you mean?

The Texans have a whole blue collar all the way around on their white jerseys as do the Broncos. It's ugly too because it's about 5 " wide. But that would sort of blow the flywire thing has to be main jersey color, doesn't it?

Where'd you find this? That would be sweet if the collars have been updated as shown. Is it Madden screencaps or something?

Not sure if posted already, but it appears that, lost in all of the draft glory, that ridiculous collar on the jersey appears to be a thing of the past.

Well, there's this: http://www.stocklemo...ing-collar.html

and this:

http://butattheendoftheday.com/2013/04/22/more-and-more-nfl-teams-are-dropping-nikes-toilet-seat-necklace/

However, I stand by my original statement until there is actually an announcement that says otherwise.

Teams may not change uniforms whenever they want. IIRC, they have to petition at least a year in advance, and not within 5 years of a previous change.

Now, if Nike is manufacturing the jerseys in a different way, I don't think that would be considered a "uniform change," just like it wasn't considered a uniform change when NFL changed license from Reebok to Nike. The teams that did change their uniform last year just used the license switch as an opportunity to do so.

Also, even last year, teams used non-flywire Nike jerseys. So it could just be that Bills are simply ditching the fly wire. But the collar is still two-toned at the Bills store and everywhere on the Nike website except the photoshopped pic of CJ Spiller. So, I don't really know what to expect, hence the waiting for some official statement/release from the Bills.

Did you mean to post the same thing twice?

Ok, now I'm starting to Bill-ieve! Link from the official Nike page (although if you click through to jerseys there's no change) -- this can't be a coincidence.

Rugby collars.

Neck roll collars.

Toilet seat collars.

Which ever moniker you choose, it appears as if this crappy design element is gone forever.

This thread is retarded. This quite simple, there is no change. Replica jerseys have a thinner collar as they don't use the same Fly Wire technology as the on-field jerseys. The picture at the start of this thread is of a replica jersey, identical to those sold last year. There no change to the current on-field jerseys.

Also - why is this important?

Also - what's the average age of this thread? 13, 14?

Not official, I know, just a blog post.

And you forgot to say "I don't care what the uniforms look like as long as they win."

I am above the age of 14.

Cheers, mate.
