I think I remember that the carousel at Carousel Center (I refuse to call it Destiny) was from one of the parks that used to be at the lake.

i thought it was from Suburban Park, the amusement park, not the old Uncle Sams night club...

Not sure, I tried to find info online, but searching on Carousel at Carousel Center didn't work.

 

And Uncle Sams, is that the one at Brewerton? It's now a Nice-n-Easy.

no uncle sams was bridge & erie blvd(?) not to be confused with USA Sams which was in N. Syracuse in the plaza where the dmv used to be(i partied at Uncle Sams/Suburban Park, worked at USA Sams....good times)

Okay. What I was remembering was Sams Lakeside. Uncle Sams I think eventually became The Country Club, but that's been closed for several years now. I can't believe with all the new retail in that area that no one has bought the property.
