Buffalo Barbarian Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 (edited) 1. WR Cordarrelle Patterson 6'1" 216 2. TE Vance Mcdonald 6'4" 267 2. ILB Kiko Alonzo 6'4" 237 3. OG Brian Winters 6'4" 320 4. QB Ryan Nassib 6'2" 227 5. WR Ryan Swope 6'0" 206 6. S Bacari Rambo 6'0" 211 7. SS Zeke Motta 6'2" 213 Patterson is that explosive playmaker this team needs, Vance fast and physical TE that we never have, Kiko aggressive can cover, Winters big nasty Guard that we need, Nassib can play this offense now and can win now, Swope bigger faster version of Wes Welker, Bacari can cover, Motta big safety nasty tackler. EDIT: I don't hate all the picks and I think most are solid guys but don't think there will be any superstars and feel there were better guys still on the board. Back to Manuel; How many of you were stump jumping for him before we drafted him? Not many. But now that we drafted him most have talked themselves into believing he will be good, which is normal as fans want to like their players. However hope and optimism doesn't make him any better than before we drafted him. That Said I hope succeeds but I'm going to have to see it on the field before I believe it. Haplo848 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Seriously? You're already redoing the draft? We all want real football to start, but it's only been a couple days since the draft, give it a break. We had all those mock drafts before the draft that we can now mock, don't add your own to it.

Really? Patterson will take a while to contribute as a WR since he's so raw. We got Woods who's polished and ready now plus the bonus of Da'Rick Rogers in UDFA who may be even better than Patterson in the long term. Doug Marrone passed on Nassib even in the 4th round, that should tell you something. Manuel has far greater upside to be the premium QB into the future. But I'm sure you know better Mr. Tyler Bray/Landry Jones advocate. Give it up man and let's see how things play out. Can we get to rookie minicamp, OTAs, training camp, preseason, and regular season 1st? Edited April 29, 2013 by 26CornerBlitz
Max Fischer Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Excellent, I love hindsight, could we use your time machine in a few years? What happens if you're completely wrong? By the way, I like the receivers they got much better.
Maury Ballstein Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 You forgot FAQB Skelton, No thanks to the nassib/Kolb pu-pu platter at qb, you know we have tried the crappy qb thing before right ? Woods over Patterson all day.....only small positive to your draft is swope
ALLEN1QB Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Only time will tell. I know one thing win or lose this is going to be a fun year.
C.Biscuit97 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I don't know how we'd draft anyone because we would have spent all of out draft picks on John Skelton, Ryan Tannehill, and Landry Jones. Also, I'd much rather have drafted a one year wonder wr with average stats at #8 than a potential franchise QB as selected by a guy who used to work with Drew Brees.

Kevin Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 None of these players have played a down in the NFL yet and you're already redoing the draft? Damn.
Dorkington Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I'll see what happens with our actual drafted players before bitching about a draft redo.
Mr. WEO Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Woods is better than Patterson, who seems not bright enough to play just yet.

You are the type of person who goes to the casino and tells the blackjoack dealer that he doesn't like the card that was dealt so he should deal him another card that he likes better. That's when the floor manager tells the security goons to throw this lunatic patron arse out of the premises and forever outlaw hm from coming back.
DrDawkinstein Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I know youve been pitching a fit since our first pick on Thursday, but I prefer our real picks at 16 and 41. Patterson is a one year wonder that only saw the field because of Rogers getting in trouble. And Nassib, contrary to what the "experts" will tell you, does NOT know our offense. It may be based a bit on what they did in Syracuse, but it is not the same system. I will say I was surprised, almost shocked, that Rambo lasted so long in a draft that had DBs flying off the board. Wonder what the knock on him was?...
Matt in KC Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Excellent, I love hindsight, could we use your time machine in a few years? What happens if you're completely wrong? What makes you think he didn't come back from the future to make his post? Of course he can't admit that because it would really scrrew up the timeline....

Truly...loved the Bills draft, however, had it of gone this way, I would not have minded. I just think the upside of EJ trumps the immediacy of Nassib's availability.....

Joe Miner Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Is this draft redo assuming that we do or do not trade Mario for Skelton? I'm confused. I think you should have to state that assumption at the beginning of all your posts so that we're all clear on what we're talking about.
