FleaMoulds80 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 This defense better be ready to stop the run because I see the Patriots as becoming a more balanced offense. Ridley and Blount combination could be deadly. This defense better step it up in their rush defense this year or we're gonna be picking in the top 10 again next year.
Stealth Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 (edited) You're worried about a guy who had 151 yards last year and will battle it out to be the #2 back with Shane Vereen? For the record the pats were very balanced last year as they were the #4 passing offense and #7 rush offense. However Blount doesnt exactly strike fear into the hearts of any defensive coordinator Edited April 29, 2013 by Stealth
NYCBoozers Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 The Pats get weaker and weaker every season. Brady is older and set to have his worst season as a pro. This is nothing. He'll get 300 yards rushing on 100 attempts for the season. Pats are entering a trick offense stage. It will be downhill fast from here.
PatsFanNH Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Blount will be the back who gets the football near the goalline or short yardage situations.. Vareen will be the 3rd dwn back and Ridley the workhorse..
Captain Hindsight Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Eh he had a few good games as a rookie but since then has fizzled out. Ridley is a far better player and the one we should worry about
Homey D. Clown Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 To quote someone else around here: DOOMED!!!!
C.Biscuit97 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Every guy who goes to the Pats becomes a superstar. Every single one.

But 2 SB in five years and they are consistantly getting worse.. lol Every guy who goes to the Pats becomes a superstar. Every single one. Really? fat albert I mean Haynesworth and Ocho stinko come to mind lol
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 The last guy I'd be worried about is Blount. Donald jones is more of a concern than he is.
NoSaint Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 (edited) Ivory to NY might be the tougher trade to stomach if he stays healthy Edited April 29, 2013 by NoSaint
San Jose Bills Fan Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Blount is the kind of big, powerful back I wish the Bills had on their roster.
BringBackFergy Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Not sure why you guys are concerned. He's like 50? 55 years old?? Have at it Pats.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/rb Among players that got between 20 and 99 carries last season, Blount ranks pretty poorly, significantly behind the Bills' own Tashard Choice. He's a big guy, but has a penchant for losing 1 or 2 yards and is a proven failure in goal line situations. He does well if he reaches the second level.
