sfladave Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Well the Palm Beach Post had Seattle losing to New England in the Super Bowl. While I cannot agree with the Seattle pick, I think that Philadelphia makes it to the super Bowl. I also disagree that New England will make it, I'm fairly certain that Pittsburgh will be the AFC champs. There is no contest...Pittsburgh wins easily!
MDH Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 While I'd like to see the Colts win the SB I just don't see it happening. The entire thing is on Manning's shoulder's...one game where he's not great and they're done. The same can't be said of Brady, he can be average, even below average and the Pats can still win. Same thing with Pitt. NE at Pitt in the AFC Championship, Pats win. Pats over Eagles in the SB.
Realist Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Minnesota over Philly, without Owens Philly seems to be no better than an average team. Atlanta over St. Louis. Indianapolis over New England, without James' fumbles in the first game this year, Indy would have won and that was with a healthy NE. Pittsburgh over NY. Atlanta over Minnesota Pittsburgh over Indy. Superbowl Pittsburgh over Atlanta
Fartacus Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 Indianapolis over New England, without James' fumbles in the first game this year, Indy would have won and that was with a healthy NE. Not for anything, but there isnt a more flawed form of reasoning than this.
justnzane Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 I'm calling this a nailbiter that Vinateri chokes at the end on a 42 yarder 32-30
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Pats by 17. Unfortunately a snoozer. 228222[/snapback] While I'm rooting for an Eagle win, I'm guessing you're right.
