tito1 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Great kid, great player, terrible luck. Fred J Is getting up there and Lattimore would be an excellent backup to CJ down the road. Would love this pick today.
Max Fischer Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Great kid, great player, terrible luck. Fred J Is getting up there and Lattimore would be an excellent backup to CJ down the road. Would love this pick today. I like Lattimore a lot, when he's not injured . . .
agardin Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 I would love it. I know the Bills need players to play now but this guys seems determined to come back and play at the same level or higher. I think he comes back and whomever drafts him will be very happy.
Alphadawg7 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 I said this prior to the draft. We should grab him in late rounds like this and let him sit this year until he is healthy and he can be paired with Spiller as a two headed monster for years to come

I think also, with the other NEEDS that we've addressed in the draft, and with Dansby still possibly in the mix, you could take him and I'd feel perfectly fine with it. I'd also be very happy with the kid from Florida. Gillislee I think his name is.
PastaJoe Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Gee, we only have 3 veteran RBs on the roster, let's waste a pick on another RB who's injured. The Bills aren't the Patriots, they can't afford to waste picks. Plenty of quality RBs have been undrafted free agents.
Doc Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 If he's injury-prone in college, that's not a good sign.
GDOSyr Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Would love it. When at full health, this guy is a 1-2 rounder, and we have running backs in place, so there's no need to push him onto to field before he's ready.
Helpmenow Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Take him in a heartbeat. Willis turn out pretty good!
Dragonborn10 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Would love him in 5th round andf then put him immediately on IR. Let him rehab all year long. Beyond the third round, if you are picking for needs it is jsut about hopeless. It's ok to take a chance in the late rounds.
NoSaint Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 If he falls to 5 I think he's a must grab. Might still be ready for use this year even. This is turning into gms letting him slide too far based on stigma instead of reality and we should take advantage of that
FistingBot Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Wouldn't be a bad idea to take a RB late in the draft since Freddie is 32 and Choice was brought in by Chan (played for him at Georgia Tech), but is generally pretty lousy as a ball carrier. Late picks are about depth... I'd take a chance on Lattimore...
Kelly the Dog Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 49ers are having a helluva draft. That was a great pick for them.
mrags Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Damn. Just a few picks ahead of us. Oh well. No biggie. I still want Gillislee. 49ers are having a helluva draft. That was a great pick for them. with as many picks as they had, its hard not to have a good draft. Even Dick Juron and Chan Gailey would have a good draft with this many possibilities to get better.
PastaJoe Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Just say No to RB. Make the playoffs before you make luxury picks.
mrags Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Just say No to RB. Make the playoffs before you make luxury picks. it won't be a luxury when FJ goes down in week 1 because he's got dust for knees.

Don't know about that. You have to pick the right players. Dick Jauron seemed to be a great guy, a good defensive coordinator, and a terrible judge of talent and head coach.
