Greg de'Ville Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Very useful link, thank You 199946[/snapback] The Fort Pitt Tunnel is quite spectacular...panoramic view of the Golden Triangle when exiting the tubes south of the Mon.
IDBillzFan Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Not sure if it'll be on national news, but if you get a chance tonight, look for video footage of the hill in La Conchita giving in. Just a massive hillslide that killed one person, injured a bunch of others...and as I type this, they're still trying to rescue people buried under the slide.
Just Jack Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 It was on ABC tonight. The local news actually gave it more coverage than the World news at 6:30.
sweet baboo Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 we need snow in WNY i can't ski on slush and grass
Wacka Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Dry yesterday and today in the SF area. Mudslides don't affect me. Rich people live in the hills here (SF area). They get burned in the wildfires and then when it rains, they get the mudslides where the vegetation was burned off.
