boyst Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) http://espn.go.com/n...cording-sources Wow. wow. Oh, and the obligatory... If he is cut, should we bring him in? Edited April 27, 2013 by jboyst62
Saint Doug Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 If they were smart, they would cut Tebow, but they won't. They'll cut Sanchize instead.
BringBackFergy Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 "Dear Lord - Please show Mark how nice it would be to play for the Toronto Argonauts. Let your will be done. Thanks, Timmy"
snafu Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 I hope they keep him forever and keep trotting him out there every week. Forever.
boyst Posted April 27, 2013 Author Posted April 27, 2013 "Dear Lord - Please show Mark how nice it would be to play for the Toronto Argonauts. Let your will be done. Thanks, Timmy" Sanchez released and goes to the CFL. Training camp comes, Tebow ends up in the CFL, too. Both play against each other next year.
snafu Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Sanchez released and goes to the CFL. Training camp comes, Tebow ends up in the CFL, too. Both play against each other next year. Yeah, meanwhile Revis picks off Geno Smith twice in the Jets opener.
BringBackFergy Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Sanchez released and goes to the CFL. Training camp comes, Tebow ends up in the CFL, too. Both play against each other next year. Exactly.
Max997 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) Sanchez is not getting cut due to his ridiculous cap hit even if they make it a post June 1st cut No reason to cut him either, starts the season before giving way to Geno late Only reason they haven't cut Tebow is bc they don't want to see Pats pick him up Edited April 27, 2013 by Max997
dave mcbride Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Why is this something to celebrate if you're a Bills fan??
PromoTheRobot Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Why is this something to celebrate if you're a Bills fan?? Honestly it would be wayyyy more fun with Sanchez and Gino together. Tebow doesn't matter anymore. Everyone is over him. I want to see how Gino responds when the NY press gets on him. PTR
Sumin Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 At this point, it may be better for the Jets to cut their losses and deal with the cap hit for Sanchez. they've already made moves to "improve" the QB situation with Garrard, so it wouldnt be killing their depth at all. Seriously, butt fumble- no other words necessary.

Maury Ballstein Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) Jets still have no Wrs. Rex is a shmo, loves drafting defenders Swopes still avail though. Two interceptions and Sanchez will feel the wrath of the crowd.....geno had better Wrs at WVU than the jets have now. Edited April 27, 2013 by Ryan L Billz
Mike in Syracuse Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 I'm glad the Bills didn't draft Geno. That said, I almost feel bad for the kid. The Jets are a dumpster fire with little offensive talent and Geno's fragile ego.... Oh my what a mess.
Nitro Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 ESPN reported NY Jets would take a $12 million dollar cap hit if they cut Sanchez this year and a $4.8 million hit next year. He is going no where. Only hope is to unload Sanchez in a trade.

He is going no where. Only hope is to unload Sanchez in a trade. How much of a hit will they take next year if they keep him ? Their mistake was to give him the huge contract so early. At this point, they might as well cut their losses.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 http://espn.go.com/n...cording-sources Wow. wow. Oh, and the obligatory... If he is cut, should we bring him in? Hell, NO!
Jim in Anchorage Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Why is this something to celebrate if you're a Bills fan?? What? are you new to this? Jets falling apart is a source of great joy to any Bills fan. I love the reaction to drafting Smith. Getting rid of Sanchez seems to be the only positive jet fans are getting. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=77632
BuffaloBill Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 They probably have to cut two QBs. If they were happy with Sanchez no way do they make all these moves.
