Saint Doug Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) A High Motor alcoholic. Great. Nothing wrong with the high motor bit, but I sure hope he has his **** together now as he clearly had a problem in the past. Edited April 27, 2013 by kas23
section122 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 You know who else broke into someone's house and passed out on their bed? Robert Downy Jr. And look at him now!!! Wait we could have had iron man and we ended up with this guy! I'm so done with this team!
Ramius Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Alonso looks slightly unstable. I love it. There are a lot worse attributes you can have in an LB.
BuffaloFan68 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) I would have been content with Minter but I like this kid much better. Taller, faster, nastier and better coverage skiils. 3 picks in and top 3 needs addressed. Next stop - tall TE. Edited April 27, 2013 by BuffaloFan68
26TrapDraw Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Kiko is rock solid. He played in a super aggressive scheme at Oregon which should translate well here. He stood out during the Rose Bowl game vs Wisky as one of the best players on the field which was loaded with talent (Just don't watch his interview after). He's always around the ball. Very good pick. It doesn't sound like he stood up to well to Wisky since he got a DUI
marauderswr80 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Fully convinced whoever the Bills draft is a reach! Stupid!
section122 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Fully convinced whoever the Bills draft is a reach! Stupid! "He's one of my favorite players. He doesn't go away from any type of contact. He's a player who plays really well going downhill in the run game, does a better job in pass coverage than you might think." -- Charles Davis
BringBackFergy Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 A High Motor alcoholic. Great. Nothing wrong with the high motor bit, but I sure hope he has his **** together now as he clearly had a problem in the past. "had a problem in the past"...seems to indicate he had problems. I'm excited. He looks like a tough minded kid with a nose for the ball. Nice pick.
BuffaninATL Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 OK, am I the only one who will be joining the chorus of "Who the !@#$ is this?" Never heard of him, never saw him mocked. I mean, I want some people at ILB, but I really haven't even considered this guy. so you never heard of him? I suppose that is good enough reason to be a naysayer.....
swnybillsfan Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 "had a problem in the past"...seems to indicate he had problems. I'm excited. He looks like a tough minded kid with a nose for the ball. Nice pick. some people do actually learn from their mistakes and grow as people. some kids do grow up. sounds like he could be one of these guys, and all the breakdowns of this kid make him sound like the type of guy we all want for the defense.
bills1960 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 LET'S GOOO. Now get us a Guard and a CB and we're good to go. Book Kyle Juszcyzk from Harvard later on. Lovin it.
RuntheDamnBall Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 A High Motor alcoholic. Great. Nothing wrong with the high motor bit, but I sure hope he has his **** together now as he clearly had a problem in the past. All of the Bills' best players of the past 30 years were alcoholics.
Kelly the Dog Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 All of the Bills' best players of the past 30 years were alcoholics. And most all of the best TSW posters.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 And most all of the best TSW posters. That is ridiculous *sips from hip flask* I'm not one of the TSW best posters.
cosmo Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Alonso looks slightly unstable. I love it. There are a lot worse attributes you can have in an LB. Yeah! He'll be our Jon Favreau in The Replacements!
Ramius Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 And most all of the best TSW posters. Which begs the question, does alcohol make people smarter, or do smart people rely on lots of alcohol to be able to deal with stupid ones?
Jkgobills Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Yeah! He'll be our Jon Favreau in The Replacements! Lol!
