BRAWNDO Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Richard Deitsch @richarddeitsch 3m ESPN's top TV markets for NFL Draft: 1. Buffalo; 2. NOLA; 3. K.C.; 4. Balt.; 5. Birmingham; 6. Dayton; 7. MIL; 8. Cincy; 9. Cleveland.
peterpan Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Two things: 1- more evidence the NFL will never leave Buffalo. 2- It's quite sad really, we have been so bad for so long that the draft is more exciting than the games.
sodbuster Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 The draft is my favorite event of the season, not counting opening weekend.
boyst Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 More proof that Buffalo is a really boring place with nothing else better to do because everyone is probably snowed in. Also, more proof that the hotels there probably just have basic cable so you have to watch ESPN vs. premium PPV.
boyst Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 It's the only channel on at Applebees damn it. missed that one.
Marv's Neighbor Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Maybe too many people out of work, with time to watch?
uncle flap Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 HATERS! no buffalo loves their sports. Bills and Sabres constantly top the ratings by region. Not gonna look it up but I doubt it has anything to with it being a down year or anything slash fans being desperate for a pick. SImple fact that Buffalo fans love their squads. By ratings measures Buffalo is a top 30 or 50 or 60 market in North America (depending on the ranking system and area included). When sports are the biggest draw in one of those top markets you see these types of ratings.
Chandler#81 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Not sure how this fits in here, but I'm a displaced Buffalonian in SW Loisianna and it's what I'm watching!
uncle flap Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Not sure how this fits in here, but I'm a displaced Buffalonian in SW Loisianna and it's what I'm watching! In Goodell's eyes your a Saints fan! PS Dont ban me
BillnutinHouston Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Not sure how this fits in here, but I'm a displaced Buffalonian in SW Loisianna and it's what I'm watching! I can relate to that!
KOKBILLS Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Hope definitely springs eternal...every Spring...for Bills fans...
Awwufelloff Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Buffalo consistently leads NHL ratings as well. Last years Stanley Cup Playoffs Buffalo was number one for the entire thing, even without the team even being in the playoffs.
