Flutie7Flakes Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Just a thought....we could do exactly what Washington did last year in drafting multiple rookie quarterbacks. This would give us an even greater chance of success with finding a franchise quarterback. From what I'm hearing, EJ Manuel is a project QB and shouldn't start right away in the NFL....now that's not to say that we won't, but that over time, he could develop much more and become a greater starting-caliber QB when given time to adjust to the league. Does drafting Nassib make sense for not only Quarterback competition, but because he already knows the system and could be our stop-gap quarterback? Having Kolb on the roster complicates this belief for me, so I doubt we draft Nassib at all, especially with any of our 2 -2nd round picks. #41 - Robert Woods #46 - Shamarko Thomas #78 - Tyrann Mathieu! LOL Honey Badger P.S. PLEASE NO TE'O
D521646 Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 I can live with this, but I DO think we need one of these early 2nds to be an interior lineman for depth.
jaybee Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 I guess I just dont see that happening. Too many holes to fill to double up on QB IMO. Although, it wouldn't bother me at all to see them take a flyer in round 7...on someone like Dysert....if by some act of God he (or someone projected higher) were still on the board. If I had to guess I'd say WR and/or TE with our two 2nd rounders. Just a guess though. jb
filthymcnasty08 Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 (edited) I feel that they're going to grab Matt Scott in the 5th!! Another read option capable guy (albeit a project) that they seemed to have an interest in..... Edited April 26, 2013 by filthymcnasty08
NoSaint Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 having signed both kolb and jackson, i dont think we see another.
