TheBackupQB Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Its the first time I remember that Chris Berman had no clue who the Bills were going to draft .... Let's me know there's a era in Buffalo
BrooklynBills Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 he also didnt know anything during the donahoe era. i think ralph/kelly was his pipeline of info.
eball Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 I think it was HoJo...that's why he got canned last year.
zow2 Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Brandon, Marrone and the new regime probably didn't go along with that Chris Berman nonsense. Good. That Berman schtick was getting old.
Buftex Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 I think the NFL imposed restrictions on ESPN and NFLNetwork about revealing picks before they were officially announced. I caught about half of a conversation between he and Rich Eisen the other day, talking about what they were doing, this year, to "improve NFL draft coverage". I didn't get to see a ton of coverage last night. On ESPN, even when Schefter broke in, while the Bills were on the clock at #8, he said there had been a trade, but the trade details didnt' seem to be detailed, until the Bills picked at #16. According to Goodell, "we listen to our fans", and apparently, showing guys talking on cell phones right before their pick was announced cut down on the suspense for too many...
BuffOrange Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 he also didnt know anything during the donahoe era. i think ralph/kelly was his pipeline of info. He definitely knew about the McGahee pick. But yah the cabbie has been on a hiatus for several years.
Chandler#81 Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 He definitely knew about the McGahee pick. But yah the cabbie has been on a hiatus for several years. Isn't 'he' recovering from a broken hip? I hear he'll be at the opener, God willing.
