Beerball Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 One of my main lifelines to the Bills in my early years. RIP Larry.
Dragonborn10 Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Sad. Now all we are left with is Sullivan...
Kkspike Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 He was a awesome writer and story teller.i could listen to him tell stories all day.this man new everybody and anything about the American football league.
Rico Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 That's just so sad to hear. RIP Larry, you were one of the all-time greats.
bbb Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Class act. Tough when he had to be but wasn't relentlessly negative like the new breed. I grew up reading him. He will be missed. Thanks Larry. That's so true. When did it become a thing that columnists for the News (or is it everywhere?) had to be vitriolic 95% of the time? I never had the same feeling reading Larry as I do Bucky Sullivan.

I_want_2_BILL_Lieve Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Larry Felser and Jim Kelley. Did we even know how good we had it?
26CornerBlitz Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Larry Felser and Jim Kelley. Did we even know how good we had it? Two Giants.
yungmack Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 One of the best in any town, & the guy who went above & beyond to get "his" guys into the Hall. The last of his breed. Vaya con dios, Larry.
Chandler#81 Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Larry Felser and Jim Kelley. Did we even know how good we had it? Yes, I did. I seriously doubt we'll see the likes of those two again.
BringBackFergy Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Humble, knowledgeable and critical when he needed to be. A real journalist. RIP Larry. Keep watching the Bills from your new box seats - We'll win it one of these years.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 It was good knowing you Larry. Rest in Peace
KollegeStudnet Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Man, he was a great guy. Hopefully, he explains to the big guy upstairs, that the Bills need a Super Bowl trophy soon!
Nanker Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Shocked. When I read the title, I honestly thought... that's odd. Why would KTFABD want us to rip Felzer. Bills nation is diminished by more than one today. R.I.P. Sir. You reported what you saw, and thousands appreciated your handiwork..
BillsPride12 Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Wow this one actually has me very upset. A huge part of the Buffalo Bills family and a true Buffalo guy all the way through. Makes me so sad that guys like him and Tim Russert are passing away and never got to see the Bills right the sinking ship. For the love of god we need to get back on track to being some sort of real football team. I don't wanna see any more of the legends pass away before they get to see at least alittle bit of glory. I will miss Larry Felser's articles and commentary on the sports talk shows. RIP to a Buffalo Legend.
Amstel Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Larry will be sorely missed. I loved his columns. Prayers to his Family and friends.
JohnC Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 (edited) One of the best in any town, & the guy who went above & beyond to get "his" guys into the Hall. The last of his breed. Vaya con dios, Larry If I recall correctly he was the person who made the argument for Ralph Wilson to get into the HOF. He stressed the point that RW's main contribution to the NFL was as one of the primary founders of the AFL and had a lot to do with the merger of the NFL and the AFL. . After he retired from the News he used to be a regular guest on Empire Sports with Howard Simon. I always liked his insights on football. He could be a tough critic but he expressed his views without anger. Edited April 24, 2013 by JohnC
mousetrap08 Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 A sad day for Buffalo sports reporting to say the least he will be missed for sure, RIP Larry
