Let me be the first to say that Nugent will be gone before we can draft him.

If we trade Henry, I would like to draft a RB in the later rounds. Darren Sproles (Kansas) should still be available late day one, early day two. I think he is the biggest sleeper of the draft. If you like living dangerously, Frank Gore (Miami) should be around on day 2.

Not sold on small RBs I like Harris from WVA, big strong back to help tire the defense. But with all the underclassmen declaring, we'll be able to get a Solid UDFA to compete for RB #3.

In my dreams I see us getting a 2nd rounder for Henry, if we are lucky it will be the raiders that fork over the pick. It will be the first time in many years that the Raiders have a proven back. And behind that line I forsee him doing better than McGahee statwise.

Our first FA priority is Jennings, then if we can find a way to keep Williams great buit Edwards played well and Hopefully there is a reason for drafting Anderson. Again in my dream the Raiders release Washington (Like they did with adams) and washington comes home, and MTV in a great move puts cameras in the Washington house that he shares with Adams, if anything that would be funny. I miss Ted.

I think a position in need is CB, I like what I see with mcGee and Clements (who should have been a Pro Bowler) But with an early 2nd we could score webster or maybe Jackson, they wouldn't start but McGee is undersized for the outside and those two along with others can match up outside. Also Clements is a FA after this year, and we need a "just in case" player, though I think they'll do everything they can to resign him.

2nd pick in the 2nd round has to be OL, another Mich player should still be there in David Baas, or Elton Brown, Rob Petitti, Chris Kemoeatu or Marcus Johnson , all are better than Tucker, maybe not right away but soon,

3rd I'd really like to replace Posey, I feel he doesn't make many plays and I really like some of the talent coming out. Player that I think could make a great impact is Rian Wallace from temple, he is a machine and at 6'4" 250 pounds he has the size to play LOLB.

I would also like to see us draft another WR, I like Mark Bradley and Roscoe Parrish, both would make good 3rd WRs

I know everyone wants a TE, but what they don't understand is this is a very average to weak TE class, maybe Everett who has the size and comes from a school that has produced some quality TEs lately, I like Euhus, he truly would have been a 3rd rounder this year and he has that magic word upside.

I like what I see for our Future.

I'd love to see the Bills take an OT in Round 2 - what about Michael (son of Anthony) Munoz?

OT | (6'6", 315, 5.3) | TENNESSEE

Data from Scouts, Inc.

Grade: 79

Alerts: (D: DURABILITY) Player that can't stay healthy

Comments: Strengths: Has very good overall size and frame. Is technically sound. Takes very good angles and consistently will get in position as a run blocker. Is mobile and does a very good job as a downfield blocker. Will get out and cut linebackers in space. Is a savvy player. Plays with leverage, uses his hands well and does a good job of locking on, driving his legs and working to finish. He has a quick set in pass pro. Has long arms, great hand placement, and does a very good job of stonewalling edge rushers. Is a good athlete for his size, as well. He plays with balance and leverage. Is able to get set versus top edge rushers and also has the athletic ability to re-direct back inside versus the double move.

Weaknesses: Has recovered fully from 2001 knee injury, but durability is still a concern. He also has been nicked a lot throughout his career and has had to play through some ankle and shoulder problems. He has good size and is tough, but lacks explosive power. Does not jar defenders back with his hand punch. Works to finish in the running game but will not engulf or pancake many defenders. He is not massive or overpowering in the running game. Is almost a little bit too much of a finesse player.

Bottom line: Munoz started all 12 games as a true freshman in 2000 but wound up missing his entire sophomore season in 01 with a knee injury. He returned as an 11-game starter as a redshirt sophomore in 02 and started every game in 03 as a team captain in his junior season. Munoz finally began to live up to expectations as a senior in 04. For the first time in his career at Tennessee, Munoz did not have to undergo surgery in the offseason, which allowed him to fully participate in workouts and training sessions that he had missed in previous offseason. The extra work in the spring and summer paid off. Munoz is bigger and stronger, and he looks quicker than ever before. He is not the most physically dominating tackle in this year s class and his history of injuries will surely cost him on draft day, but his strong play as a senior has helped his draft value tremendously. Expect Munoz to come off the 05 draft board somewhere between the late-second and third round.

There are a number of tackles I've seen that have been more impressive than Munoz, most notably Wesley Britt of Alabama and Nick Kaczur of Toledo. If those two were on the board, I'd consider them before Munoz without question.

I'd think that CIN (who I think will trade down again), will take the chance for obvious reasons.

More power to them. Considering the Jennings situation, we can't afford to be wrong about whoever we select at tackle. Check out my scenario; I had us going after Tra Thomas in free agency, but drafting a guy like Britt or Kaczur would be fine too.

I think that would be a win-win situation.

If we got a 2nd rounder for TH, would you take an OL guy plus LB Rian?

213030[/snapback]

If we were to pick up a 2nd round pick for Travis and used both 2nd rounders to get a stud LG AND a pass rusher like Wallace, that would be awesome. The only way I wouldn't try that (if we had 2 picks in the 2nd round) would be if the OL was addressed properly in free agency (maybe getting LT Tra Thomas of Philly and a LG like Cosey Coleman). If there's no upgrade to the line via free agency, it should be done early in the draft. Getting Wallace would be nice also. He could give us a solid pass rush and I also think he will develop into a solid every down LB.

I think that'd be great getting a road grader through FA, especially since we have McNally coaching the line--we could even slot 2 new FA's in there with their experience. This would be a necessity if Jonas heads South. Drop Pucillo for sure, and draft some insurance in Round 5 (OT Calvin Armstrong, Wash. St., 6' 7" 322) and/or Round 5 (OT Rian Melander, Minnesota 6' 7" 295). The line would be set.

Rian Wallace would make me feel better than Dominique Stevenson, Stamer, and Constantin Ritzmann if there was a long-term injury to Fletcher or Spikes. I feel worse about our depth at LB than I do about our depth at DB. Dunno about Posey; I'll call the coming year his 3rd year breakout.

As see things now I think we're going to end up with Tampa's 3rd Round pick for Henry. Some good thoughts all around this thread but I have questions about counting on Munoz to be a LT in the NFL as a rookie. Nick Kaczur was a guy I listed as who I thought we'd take in my early draft research but he had a strong Shrine game and might have moved himself and just out of our reach. I agree with many of R. Rich's sentiments (but will toss Bob Whitfield's name as another LT that look at if lost Jennings as feel Thomas would be out of our price range) but agree that CB as a potential place to go in Round 2 if a quality guy drops. As well as McGee played, I'd rather have him at nickel and as a return specialist not to mention with Clements due to be an UFA after 2005.

Sidenote: Ritzmann is a DE and Stevenson has been off the team for some time, last I heard he was in Washington.

You're right on Ritzmann and Stevenson.

Nick Kaczur is a possibility. As the draft thermometer rises and falls for various players, good players can be pushed downward, and Kaczur just might be there. Some players get overinflated. Sure hope so.
