beggar13 Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast James Walker took Patterson with the 8th pick. Patterson over Austin?!? I would not be happy at all. The he scoops up Austin with the Jets 13th pick. Unbelievable...
K D Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I don't want either, definitely not Rosoe Parish...uh I mean Tavon Austin
papazoid Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I don't like risk in first round.... if I was forced to use the #8 pick the way that draft fell.... the safest/surest player is Jonathan Cooper
The Big Cat Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I think Walker's glaring incompetence has been sufficiently documented here already. We could get better insight from the Queen of England.
beggar13 Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 I'm curious to see what QBs are around at 41.
Maddog69 Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I think Walker's glaring incompetence has been sufficiently documented here already. We could get better insight from the Queen of England. could not agree more
beggar13 Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 26 picks in and all QBs are still on the board. I love Tavon, I just don't know if there's a need for him having just drafted TJ last year.
thebandit27 Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I can't believe the way this thing is playing out...I'd be shocked if that's what actually happens on Thursday.
eball Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I can't believe the way this thing is playing out...I'd be shocked if that's what actually happens on Thursday. It won't. These guys don't have to actually answer for their decisions so they're being sensational rather than practical.
Kelly the Dog Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I think Walker's glaring incompetence has been sufficiently documented here already. We could get better insight from the Queen of England. I don't think that you can legitimately say that until we get a look at the Queen's board and she's notorious for keeping it hidden, even from other members of the royal family. It's actually been reported, although I can't confirm it, that no one, not one person, has seen the Queen's board. Rumor is, however, she's high on that kid from Notre Dame. Whether that means Teo or Eifert is anyone's guess.

Brainiac21 Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast James Walker took Patterson with the 8th pick. Patterson over Austin?!? I would not be happy at all. The he scoops up Austin with the Jets 13th pick. Unbelievable... Patterson was ahead of Austin until a couple weeks ago.... with Austin going to Vikings at 23 and Patterson was mocked to us plenty. He may very well end up slipping, but don't believe everything you hear the 2 weeks before the draft.. so many lies.
DasNootz Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 No QB and no RB taken in round 1... when was the last time you saw that?
kickedface Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 yeah not buying it at all. no qbs and walker doesn't seem to know much about the division he is writing about, or maybe he just doesn't care to do much more than the bare minimum
Lurker Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Anyone watching ANY mock draft is wasting their time...whether it's a hack like Walker or a guru like Mayock. There's just no certainty about anything in this draft class, so it's an exercise in futility more than any year I can remember...
Max Fischer Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 The only team with a foolproof draft strategy is the one with the very first pick. After that, all plans go to hell and its not possible to ever be sure of pick #2, let alone any selection afterward.
eee1776 Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Every year those so-called experts get between 4 to 6 right in the first round.
