SF Bills Fan Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Saw Oceans 12 and didn't like it. I liked the first one. This one was messy and not interesting. I haven't seen Fockers, but those that I know have, liked it. I saw Sideways today and it was really good. I'd recommend that.
mravenger Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 I like robert Di nero he is just too darn funny. Saw him in analyze that with billy crystal LMAO. Going to a friends house in hagerstown md next weekend. Decideing on either ocean12 or meet the fockers. If any of you critics have seen either of these. What is your opinion? Go bills in 2005 199418 You Must see the Fockers it is the funiest thing out there right now!!!
DC Tom Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 You Must see the Fockers it is the funiest thing out there right now!!! 199894 It's worth seeing, just to see DeNiro, Streisand, and Hoffman together on-screen (Hoffman and Streisand are particularly great together). But funniest thing out there? Am I the only one on the planet that found the script dull and tiresome, and the direction forced?

The local n'paper flack that rates the movies said "Hoffman and Streisand bring a lot of fun to this sequel, but otherwise the action is forced and the laughs are thin".

It was a fun escape though. I recommend it for a laugh or three.

LabattBlue Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Funny film. Streisand was better than I expected. If you walk out this film and feel like you didn't get your moneys worth, stick to the "artsy" films that the critics love and everyone else hates.
gmac17 Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 So you will be buying the DVD and the T-shirt? that decision was made after it hit #1 at the box office.
