ChevyVanMiller Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Read about this in the Buffalo News today and went to check out the video. Ray Collins, former Buffalo Newscaster and St. Bonaventure tennis player, was invited to play one point in a celebrity tennis foursome in Florida. He was paired with Andy Murray and they played against Men's #1 Novak Djokovic and women's top player, Anna Ivanovic. They got a great rally going with much net play and Collins ended it with a great behind-the-back shot that caught Djokovic flat-footed. Pretty cool to be able to say you schooled the world's #1 player, don't you think?
The Poojer Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 he's a douche for doing that...it was obvious it was just casual volleying...he took the opportunity to 'one up' the same people that he isn't worthy of holding their balls.

I'm thinking he was just trying to hit it back and keep the volley going, the behind the back angle sent the ball a little higher than he planned. Everyone seemed good natured about it.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I played on the same softball team with Ray for a few seasons. He's a good athlete. His brother, Richard who's an MD is also a good athlete.
