I am not estatic for Kolb but recognize there was not alot of options out there, and needed another vet QB

Who knows maybe he becomes this great never injured QB, I doubt it but it can not hurt as it is mainly incentive based

Adam Caplan was on John Murphy Show tonight. Said that the language wasn't going to be approved by management council due to some nuances in new CBA, so they had to re-write some things and it would be approved in 24-48 hours. Not the "amateurs" fault or Kolb's agent, just red tape on a few things.

I thought the same thing, LOL.

The deal was finished on Thursday night. Today is Friday. What's to be gained by coming to town for a couple of hours work? Start the week on Monday and participate the whole week. Makes perfect sense to me.

As long as there is a truly open competition among Kolb, Jackson, Andy Corp, and (they draft) a rookie QB, I'll be satisfied. No one should be handed the starting job.

Wonder what the delay was completing his contract? It would have sent a good message for him to show up today, but he's just a stopgap.

He was just dragging his feet so he wouldn't have to work out this week.

The contract is incentive laden would be my guess so they probably had to haggle out each incentive.
