As much as it pains me to say it, no body wants to come to Buffalo. How is it that Laron Landry, Mike Devito and others have not expressed interest in signing in buffalo knowing that Mike Pettine is there. At this point, all we could hope for are trades.

They may have expressed interest it's just that the Bills aren't going to overpay for players. They need to keep their cap in order to resign pending FAs (Spiller, possibly extending Byrd)

The Bills have been too quiet. I haven't heard of them expressing any interest in anyone this off season. Makes no sense.

They are fine in terms of cap space. They have plenty of room cap-wise to get better. It's almost as if they plan on winning ~2-3 games next year.

How do you, or anyone know, who is interested and who is not? Did anyone, including, the so called media insiders report that Lawson was talking to the Bills? It seemed to come out of no where when it was announced that he signed today. Maybe, just maybe, the Bills are actually working on adding other players, and we just have not heard about them either. If you remember, last year the Bills shocked the NFL community when everyone learned that Mario was already in town and the Bills had taken him hostage. We can all probably find things to be critical about with the front office, but one thing you have admire is they seem to know how to keep a secret.

Full on tank mode!!! Suck for any QB NEXT year. The guys available this year suck as bad as the Bills do right now.

Analytics. Get used to it. Big name money players will leave, including Spiller if he commands a big payday.

Oakland A's are the model. Guys like Miguel Tejada, the Giambi Brothers and Barry Zito all left for big contracts. That's the way the Bills are going to handle it now. Be prepared.

you mean if spiller "demands." Commands suggests he deserves it and can command that salary.

Baseball blah blah blah baseball blah blah

And did you ever notice that it should be the Oakland "As" and not the "A's," since an apostrophe "s" has never, in the history of English, made something plural?

But to the substance, yes, we will use analytics to get bigger, stronger, and cheaper, kinda like the Seahawks have been doing. Or like the Buccaneers thought they were doing with the whole "youngry" thing. And notice its "Buccaneers" and not "Buccaneer's"

(and yes, I am aware that the Oakland baseball team has trademarked the term "A's" instead of "As" and that they realize they are stuck with a grammatically incorrect term. Much has been written about it. But its still dumb. But cf: http://thegrammarvandal.wordpress.com/2007/07/27/apostrophe-for-the-oakland-as/)

Its sometimes best to sit back and let these teams overpay these mid tier players. Come a week or two the Bills can sign players to reasonable contracts that can fill needs.

Can we find a QB first before people want to spend more money on a team that has been spinning its' wheels for over 15 years. I would be fine not adding anyone that costs over a couple mill util QB is found

We don't overpay, the franchise is a complete mess and is in full rebuild mode for the 3rd time in less than 10 years, has no QB, a bunch of college coaches, lousy facilities plus the place arguably sucks for a young single rich guy with a lot of money, etc etc. The Bills cannot compete. This movie repeats itself over and over. The Bills are like a minor league baseball team... develop college talent for the big leagues, otherwise stuck with over the hill and marginal guys. Just the way it is. Sucks to be a Bills fan.
