BRAWNDO Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Jason Davis @RealJasonMDavis Former #Bills guard Chad Rinehart has signed with #Chargers. Thought to be backup to Levitre. Now Bills need to address OL. Retweeted by John Kryk
BRAWNDO Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 I thought the Bills would resign. Brandon Moore hopefully?
BeastMode54 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Just when you think we had been finally building through the draft and FA, we lose two guards, one top 5 in the league. Just more holes to fill. Every year it's something. We overpay for mediocre players, barring Stevie and Mario, and the process continues year after year
seq004 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 What the hell. We finally get a decent offensive line and they let it fall apart. Hope they sign Moore now.
Kelly the Dog Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 If he signed a one year deal as stated, the Bills could not have wanted him back very much. This could be an indication of what kind of offense they are going to run and what kind of OG they want.
Rob's House Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 This is far more disconcerting to me than losing Levitre. Wonder how much he got.
Pete Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Who the !@#$ is going to play left guard for the Bills next year? And who is backing him up? Trainwreck
DDD Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Add O-line to QB, WR, LB, and CB needs. The 2013 Bills may be the worst team in Buffalo since Gregg Williams came in and that was pretty painful at 3-13.
BillsFanForever19 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Crap. I really liked him and thought he would have been a great Levitre replacement considering how much we used him in a reserve role without giving up too much effectiveness on the Line. Double crap.
Kelly the Dog Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Joe D is the coach there who was CR's coach here so he probably lobbied hard for a serviceable back-up, and a place that appealed to CR a lot, too. Still, a one year deal the second day of FA doesn't sound like he had a lot of options.
Bangarang Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Rinehart was very good depth and could come in and start if needed without much dropoff. Definitely sucks to see him go. We definitely need to get a starting LG and capable backup.
Dr. Trooth Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 I thought the Bills would resign. Brandon Moore hopefully? He's only played RG in his career. He's also 32.
mrags Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Whoa, whoa, whoa!!! I was perfectly fine with Levitre because I thought we had Rhinehardt. Wtf is going on here? I thought he was locked up previously. Now I'm pissed. It's gonna be a OLmen at 8 it sounds like.
NoSaint Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Who the !@#$ is going to play left guard for the Bills next year? And who is backing him up? Trainwreck Plenty of time to figure this out. Far from a train wreck still.
Pete Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 (edited) Add O-line to QB, WR, LB, and CB needs. The 2013 Bills may be the worst team in Buffalo since Gregg Williams came in and that was pretty painful at 3-13. don't forget TE and RB depth. What positions are the Bills sound on? LT,FS, RCB, DE, DT, RB, WR,C, RG is what I came up with Edited March 13, 2013 by Pete
RuntheDamnBall Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 BPA at #8 will probably be an O-lineman...... Guess we better get used to the TJax show, or trading back into the first for the QB they want. Well, now it's time for all those people who talked about how guards are a dime a dozen to be proven right, because the Bills now need two, including a starter. And drafting one at #8 would tell me the Bills don't exactly think they're a dime a dozen.
