When we lost 2 left tackles, Peters and the guy who could decide how to spell his name (so why should I look up the spelling), everyone was going crazy. We all said Peters was the best left tackle since Ballard. (that was crappola)

Neither of those guys could stay on the field, but Levitre since day one walk on the field into position and stayed there.

We have significantly weakened our team because of Brandon's budget. We do not have a cap issue, only a Ralph spending issue.

Now not only do we need to fill our LB positions, and QB now we begin the tearing down of the Oline. We have a poor D line to start thanks to money man Mario deciding not to play with his limp wrist.

How can a team get better when it tears itself apart every year.

We should all be irate about Levitre.

I cannot find one strength for this team...except the fans.

If we were the Patriots letting Mankins go, I'd agree with you. We're not, though, and need to fill other spots before paying a guard $25 million guaranteed.

Can you explain for us the Bills long-term cap situation or are you just talking out your ass?

Levitre was a good player and a big loss, but their is no way the Bills could nor should pay 7mil+ per season for a guard, they may not even pay that for a OT. So, I believe knowing that is why most on this board accept it.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I see this similar to Clements leaving...good player to have but at times you have to make tough decisions when players are looking to cash in on those big contracts. One thing about the Nix regime is that they have retained their guys over the past few years, Levitre is the first guy they've really let walk, so I'll reserve judgment until it starts becoming a trend.

Except for the fact that there are 300 guys on the street who can play guard in the NFL and there are only about 30-40 decent NFL-caliber Tackles in the whole world..... you make a great point.

Do we have 1 strength now?????

Losing Levitre is a kick in the balls and the worst loss since Pat Williams. And to think that we never even contacted Levitre- disgusting

who was the last great Bills guard before Levitre? Reggie McKenzie? For all the talk about how easy it is to find a guard- the Bills have not found a good one for 30 years. Offensive line is all about continuity. And our offensive line WAS finally coming together. I think the only person more pissed about the Levitre !@#$ up is CJ Spiller

This 'lack of respect' exist only in your own mind. Simply because people believe he is not worth 7.8 million a year is not disrespect.

1) Nothing Bills-related is worth getting IRATE over unless you are a player or employee of the team. It's a game, the Bills aren't very good at it, we should be used to this by now.

2) Once and for all: LEVITRE LEAVING THE BILLS WAS LEVITRE'S DECISION, NOT MANAGEMENT'S. He was a UFA and didn't want to re-sign here. The FO of a losing team has little leverage with a UFA who is in high demand. END OF STORY

3) Levitre is no longer a Bill and should be booooooed accordingly. Respect THIS, Andy (grabs junk).

We all respect Levitre as a very good and durable player for the Bills. Given the amount of needs, there's no way they could break the bank for him. He's not a HOF Larry Allen type of player at Guard, so they did the right thing in letting him hit the market.

Your points have little merit. We keep making decisions on Clements etc and end up out of the playoffs. $7M for a gurd 5 years ago was a lot, but the cap is $133 million not $88 M.

Can you name one strength

OL..not now

DL..should have been but is not

LB...we have non

QB...we have none

DB's we just signed McKelvin to 4 year dear for $5M per and he could not even start...but nobody complained

receivers...we have 1

TE...????? got hurt the last game of the year

RB....awe we finally find a strength

specialist...a questionable punter and a licker most of this board wants to change (I like him)

So, why not pay Levitre and keep a strength ???

Lets try this again.... Guards are a dime a dozen and should NEVER Be given huge money....ever...like throughout time. Good for andy, he suckered the Titans into overpaying a guard which is a dumb ass move for them.

I haven;t seen anybody on this board disrepect Andy Levitre. I haven;t seen one negative comment about him. Everybody seems to love Andy and respect his play. He is a very good OG. There is not one person on this board who would not be thrilled if the Bills were able to re-sign him and bring him back. There is no debating that he will be tough to replace. That being said, it would have been a very bad decision for the BIlls to pay Andy 7.8m per year
