BuffaloWings Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 (edited) WSU had a craptastic team a coaching change etc during Tuel's time there His size and athleticism is there. He would be a UDFA if we do bring him in so people need to stop over reacting This. He'd probably be a late-round pick, at best. But what I see is a lot of Ben Roethlisberger with a more mobility. Not Cam Newton mobility, but more than BR. Just watch the jams he gets out of and turn negative plays into 20-yard gains. Bring him in and give him a shot, I say. They had the same coach the first 3 years he was there. They got the Senator's boy (Mike Leech) his senior year. This is just scouts drooling over his height and arm strength or whatever and they think they can make him good even though he sucks. Has that ever worked? Bring him in as an UFDA if you want, whatever. Edited March 12, 2013 by reddogblitz
filthymcnasty08 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Being a late round pick with upside, one might say that Brady is very much a Tuel himself.
DanInSouthBuffalo Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Looks like he only has played out of the shotgun.
8-8 Forever? Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 2 rooks plus Tavaris = Fitz getting cut? This would be a very interesting path. Kind of what the Redskins did. Flush all but one and draft two.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 The Cheatriots*** worked out Jeff Tuel yesterday… or possibly last Friday. http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/new-england-patriots/post/_/id/4741426/tuel-workout-reflects-depth-of-process
H2o Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Didn't see this posted, apologies if I missed it. Oh great, another Tuel of a QB.

Cheddar's Dad Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 There's a solid 0.1% chance he becomes the next Brady. This is true of every QB in this draft. Tuel is interesting though. 6'3", 218, 4.6-40. Great escapability and speed. Nice touch on long ball. Strong arm. A 4th rounder???
H2o Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Starting QB for the 2013 Buffalo Bills - Aaron Corp Andy Corp There, fixed it.
mitchmurraydowntown Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Bills will host Washington State quarterback Jeff Tuel April 8-9, FYI.
Dr. Trooth Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 If ya love interceptions, you'll love tuel. he's got like a 27-20 td/int ratio.
Pirate Angel Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfGbUu5byP4 Highlights, I know, but impressive non the less. It would be interesting to see the lowlights, though. pocket awareness is phenomenal...very impressive how he always keeps his eyes down field while scrambling.
