Dr. Trooth Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Mouse McNally ran their pro day workout at Cornell on Fri. Steve was on hand. I see Luke getting a sniff from the Pats because he's in that Welker - Edelman mold. Tretter is legit. Very athletic @ 6'4" 305. The wrap on him was lack of core strength. So, he goes to the combine and puts up 28 reps @ 225. I think it was third best of OL. Guess that question is answered. Here's the linky... http://blogs.buffalonews.com/press-coverage/2013/03/luke-tasker-jc-tretter-take-next-steps-toward-nfl-dreams.html
MOFO Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) Bench press is not an indication of core strength, but anyone who can put up that many reps shouldn't have that bad of a core...If a teams strength and conditioning coach can't fix a players core issue he shouldn't have the job... KollegeStudnet Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) Raiders and Bills staff were on hand to watch Edit: those are the only teams I could find that were there to watch Edited March 11, 2013 by KollegeStudnet
Astrobot Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Tretter is on the Bills' radar, and if Warford's gone and we've taken a QB and LB in RD1-2, Tretter will likely be a Bill in RD3. MY notes: athlete: high scorer on HS basketball team, also QB, OT, came as a TE, from upstate Akron NY, excellent bend, quickness, sudden, lateral agility, slides well, fundam sound, 28 reps, anchor
