Rockinon Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 hearing Raiders want Geno... badly Speculation is that the Raider's will cut Carson Palmer and go QB.
Drewgetz Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Not at all ground breaking. Any player not on the Jets that played D will be linked to the Bills because of Pettine. Do they have any coaches we might want still? Do we have all our coaches in place??

Peter King @SI_PeterKing RT @KimJonesSports: NYG signs DT Cullen Jenkins to a three-year deal for $8 million, $3 million guaranteed. Nice pickup ... Good job, KIm. That's a great deal for the Giants. Their deal with Chris Canty is a prime example of how to mess up free agency, in contrast.

hooper Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 They did bring in Meachum, but they also brought in Alexander. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/09/24/bills-give-danario-alexander-a-workout/
Best Player Available Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) They did bring in Meachum, but they also brought in Alexander. http://profootballta...nder-a-workout/ They did. If I got it correctly, they decided on the exciting play of Ruvell Martin. He's available this year too. Edited March 11, 2013 by Best Player Available
hooper Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 My point is this, the guy has a low tender so it will not cost much to get him, big WR put up 37rec, 658yards, and 7td in ten games, has injury history, but is big athletic type WR, why not take the risk if all it will cost is a late pick? Ruvell Martin- 4rec, 41yards

Ruvell Martin- 4rec, 41yards Agreed. I was using sarcasm. Something in play occasionally on a fan board. Honestly I didn't realize Martin's numbers were that good. I thought he was 1 catch 13 yards. I even saw it.The Bills need receivers, there is NFL tape on the guy, sign him if there's potential. If it's a late pick, there is little to lose.
Saint Doug Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 They did bring in Meachum, but they also brought in Alexander. http://profootballta...nder-a-workout/ Just another example of a player who the Bills could of had for very little....
26CornerBlitz Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 @CSNPhilly Eagles are interested in pursuing WR Danny Amendola when free agency opens Tuesday, per @GeoffMosherCSN: http://www.csnphilly.com/eagles/source-eagles-interested-danny-amendola …
thebandit27 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I did hear on Sirius NFL radio (sorry, no link) that Buffalo (along with Miami and St. Louis) may be in the mix for Danario Alexander again this off-season. Apparently he's a RFA, but was tendered at the lowest level, which would require no compensation to be sent to San Diego if another team signs him and they choose not to match (he was an undrafted free agent). It wouldn't surprise me since they brought him in mid-season for a tryout...perhaps a decent offer (i.e. $3M-$4M/year) gets it done.
Maddog69 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 I saw a Twitter this morning that Takeo Spikes told an ESPN radio interviewer that Buffalo has the best fans in the NFL. Pretty cool of him to say, but I just started to wonder. We need LBs. He knows this. He's a UFA. Maybe he was just trying to butter up the Bills FO to get them to make an offer?
thebandit27 Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Just a rumor, but I'm hearing through the grape vine that the Bills are interested in Nick Roach - LB/Chicago Has experience both inside and outside, been a starter in place of both Urlacher and Briggs, as well as along side of them. Solid, but unspectacular: Nick Roach
26CornerBlitz Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 @RapSheet Not a surprise, but hearing big-time interest in G Andy Levitre: #Titans love him, #Broncos & #Colts also in the mix. #Bills, too, of course

Seahawks favored. Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter And so the first blockbuster trade of the week is shaping up to involve...Percy Harvin. Imagine Harvin, Russell Wilson and Beastmode.
