mitchmurraydowntown Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 (edited) Cordy played real well in 13 games at LT, I think he might be the best drafted OL value the Bills ever got. Discuss. http://www.nfldrafts...=2012&genpos=OT Edited March 6, 2013 by mitchmurraydowntown
GG Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Jason Peters may quibble with that thread title, just a bit. Or House Ballard.
mitchmurraydowntown Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 I posted a combine link thinking from a draft standpoint for us but yes outside of the draft Peters was great, the short amount of time he was here.

Discuss. http://www.nfldrafts...=2012&genpos=OT Yeah, as stated by others, Glenn probably isn't an epic steal. Good player. I think he will feel the wrath of Bills fans if they keep him at LT though.
Helpmenow Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Kent Hull /thread . Was hull drafted? Dont remember
JPS Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Glenn reminds me a lot of a young Larry Allen. Your head way out over your skis on that one. House Ballard in the 11th round is the biggest draft steal. Hull and Peters are the best FAs.
mitchmurraydowntown Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 (edited) Kent Hull /thread Kent wasn't drafted by Buffalo, he played in the USFL for several seasons (83-85) & then came to Buffalo. Edited March 6, 2013 by mitchmurraydowntown
atlbillsfan1975 Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 . Was hull drafted? Dont remember Signed as an Undrafted Free agent. He rode in the equipment van from the airport the same day the Bills picked Kelly up in a limo. I know it is an old story but classic. Kind of symbolic of the two being joined together for the next decade and their different styles Glenn has a lot to prove to be considered the best value ever picked by the Bills at Oline. I am a huge Glenn fan and was on record advocating him playing LT last offseason pre-draft. he did a good job his first year and if he builds and grows into the position we can discuss it more in a few years....
GG Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 caMissed the drafted part. Yet he's got a long way to go to beat out Joe D, reggie, and Billy Shaw for value. Heck if he can deliver Jonas Jennings performance, without injuries, we should be happy.

I said reminded of,big dude, mauler in the run game, freakishly strong, might be better suited at guard. Theirs similarities there.
GG Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 I was thinking modern era guys. Given bills recent draft history, it's a very low bar
NoSaint Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 I was thinking modern era guys. So not really ever, more the last couple years
thewildrabbit Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Kent Hull /thread Will Wolford, Jim Richter, Kent Hull, Ruben Brown,Jason Peters, Stew Barber, Billy Shaw, Dave Behrman, Al Bemiller, Dick Hudson, Dave Foley , Joe DeLamielleure Have all made the pro bowl at least once, and some many many times. Glenn isn't at their level yet.
auburnbillsbacker Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Jason Peters may quibble with that thread title, just a bit. Or House Ballard. Peter's wasn't drafted. He was a rookie free agent tight end.
Simon Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Missed the drafted part. That's because the guy changed the title of the thread after he realized how stupid it was.

Discuss. http://www.nfldrafts...=2012&genpos=OT Glenn had an up-and-down rookie season. He didn't play "real well" outside of his first few games.
