mitchmurraydowntown Posted March 6, 2013 Author Posted March 6, 2013 I thought Bart Scott by the title. We all know you intentionally put only "B.Scott" to get views. Damn you. You caught me, foiled again.
Baba Booey Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he was cut in August Tru. I don't know why they re-signed him start fresh at LB/SS!!!
snamsnoops Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 The guy is a play maker and game changer on defense. Creates turnovers, can't say that about many of our other defenders besides byrd, whom they don't seem to value for the long term. So do you think they r just renting him for a year with the Franchise Tag, or is this just a way for buffalo to get more draft picks? I see the tag as giving them time to work out a long term contract. What 1st time head coach in the NFL wouldn't want a playmaker of byrd's capabilties on his team...
jcbillsfan Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 It is fine just as long as 43 is never the mike again
BobbyC81 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 It could really be Vaccaro. I think they really wanted Barron last year, but with all the movement in the top 10, they didn't get him. What does that have to do with 2013 Draft?
Dorkington Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Lose our best LB and re-sign our worst? Well... ok.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Per Twitter. https://twitter.com/teambryanscott "43 is the Mike!" yippee
Joe Miner Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 What does that have to do with 2013 Draft? Err...that I think it's a definite possibility the Bills use the #8 pick on a safety. I'm missing your confusion.
NoSaint Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Didnt connect the dots on Scott- played on the saints when marrone was there, and for pettines father in high school
Mike in Syracuse Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 "43 is the Mike!" yippee Why do people keep bringing this up? It wasn't like Scott was the one who designed the defensive gameplay for the Patriots game, It might alsot be worth pointing out that Tom Brady does that against every team he plays. That's the EXACT reason why Pettine said that if the offense knows what you're doing prior to the snap, you're already at a huge disadvantage.
bonechiller Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 (edited) Hopefully this is the first in a few dominoes of signings to happen over the next several days... Let's Go Buffalo! WAIT! what's this a posative attitude ? here? don't see that often, kinda refreshing. Edited March 7, 2013 by bonechiller
mitchmurraydowntown Posted March 7, 2013 Author Posted March 7, 2013 WAIT! what's this a posative attitude ? here? don't see that often, kinda refreshing. I thought Nix made a great move drafting Cordy Glenn in round 2 but everyone crapped on that for one reason or another, positive posts are hard to handle here.
papazoid Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 B. Scott is very below average......nothing to get excited about here.....
Dibs Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 I thought Nix made a great move drafting Cordy Glenn in round 2 but everyone crapped on that for one reason or another, positive posts are hard to handle here. I'm astounded that all of the smart player cuts(& retirements).....the ones that made sense to everyone....the ones that people were hankering for.....turned into bad decisions because they opened up "holes to fill". .....and then people complained that we hadn't filled the holes yet!!! How can we fill the holes before FA starts??? It does my head in.
Al Cowlings Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Milliner, Rhodes, or Vaccaro at 8. And then this board will crash. you can forget about Milner-he wont be around by 8.
C.Biscuit97 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 I thought Nix made a great move drafting Cordy Glenn in round 2 but everyone crapped on that for one reason or another, positive posts are hard to handle here. You have to take a hard stance one way or another. Nix is either the worst GM ever or the best. Nothing in between.
