Beerball Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Including M-F 5pm show featuring Regis Philbin, should be plenty of ND talk.
boyst Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 I have more hope then I should that this will be a good thing.
RuntheDamnBall Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 As bad as ESPN is, would any of you under 60 actually like to watch Regis Philbin talk about sports? Unless he is going to be there to regale us with tales of Mays and Musial and what it was like when they wore leather helmets, I'll pass.

If your a fan of ND and/or the Yankees, I'm sure you might enjoy it If you aren't, then probably not........
RuntheDamnBall Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 If you put him between a serious panel. ... hmm Define "serious." If your a fan of ND and/or the Yankees, I'm sure you might enjoy it If you aren't, then probably not........ You've sold me on how terrible this idea is.
boyst Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 A few sports panelists. And some good banter. It could be nice. Or it could be an Oprah type show
KD in CA Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 I have more hope then I should that this will be a good thing. My feelings exactly. As bad as ESPN is, would any of you under 60 actually like to watch Regis Philbin talk about sports? The guy is over 80 years ago, he'll do his one hour show for at most a year before they transition to someone else. It's just a PR move to attach his name to the 'new' station.
PromoTheRobot Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Will Karl Rove dispute the scores? (Sorry I couldn't resist. ) PTR
Helpmenow Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 ESPN was once good. It hasn't been good in years.
