Numark Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 So let's do something a little fun gang. I'm going to create a topic (every day or so) for each position until free agency. As a community we can rate how well off we feel the Bills are at the position. Then we can do this after free agency, and then we can do this after the draft. This way we can see where our holes really are at, what we need to address, and to see if the bills address these needs. Please be rational/honest with your voting. Also please post as well as vote, that way we can say I told you so in a few months! Current Situation Please feel free to correct me if you feel I have made a mistake here. This is based on what I believe would be the starters/backups if the season started today. Starting DT: Kyle Williams & Marcell Dareus Depth: Alex Carrington, Torell Troup, Jay Ross, Jarron Gilbert, Corbin Bryant Previous Polls (Please vote in these polls if you have not done so already, they are still open! No need to post in them but vote away): QB | RB | WR | TE | OT | OG | C | DE or View All ***With linebackers and defensive line, I understand we are going to be running a hybrid defense, but to keep things simple are we are going to use last years positions to rate players. Thanks!
boyst Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 There are too many questions up front between injuries and production to consider them good. Our depth is great that we have good DT's but... can they go back and forth between NT 34DT and 43DT?

Orton's Arm Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 A guy like Kyle Williams can be dominant if he's at his best. But between age and injuries, I anticipate seeing a lot of "less than best" play from him this upcoming season, just as we saw this past season. As for Dareus: his second year was mediocre at best. He looked unmotivated and out of shape in the off-season and the early part of the regular season. There's a real chance he would continue to have looked that way, even had his brother not subsequently been killed.
boyst Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Torell Troup can play NT. Wait, I almost pulled a torell troup laughing I think he is going to be the guy I cheer for most this year. Somewhere someone posted stories about the back injury he had taking 3 years to fully recover from, and he is like 23? 24? I want to give him a chance, I want to see what he can offer...but how much further can we go?
