BRAWNDO Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 The movie Draft Day will no longer be about the Bills. Filming has been moved to Cleveland and the Browns will now be the featured team. http://www.buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20130305/CITYANDREGION/130309579/1109
Maury Ballstein Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 first it was Robert Meachum..........now it's Kevin Costner............when will it ever end? Doooooomed!!!
Kelly the Dog Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Good. It's going to suck anyway. The script is horrible and would have been an embarrassment to the Bills and Buffalo.
atlbillsfan1975 Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Good. It's going to suck anyway. The script is horrible and would have been an embarrassment to the Bills and Buffalo. Come on man. It still would have been nice to have Buffalo and the Bills featured.
Just Jack Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Come on man. It still would have been nice to have Buffalo and the Bills featured. Then check out Second String... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0194342/
earthtobrint Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 (edited) Reitman's movies stink but it still would've been neat to have the Bills featured in a movie. Then check out Second String... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0194342/ Looks like a new candidate for bad movie night. And a new avatar. Edited March 5, 2013 by earthtobrint
The Big Cat Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Why would we want to be the failing-franchise-punchline!?
Drewgetz Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 (edited) Then check out Second String... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0194342/ I own it and am a fan. But I like made for tv type movies. Good cast and some gratuitous shots of actual bills playing like Bruce Smith. Edited March 5, 2013 by Drewgetz
Smiley Dear Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I was hoping it would do for the Bills what Major League did for the Indians of the mid 90's. It's not fair that Clevelamd get both boosts.
BuffaloWest Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 NY State & Western NY make making films very difficult and expensive from what I hear, and you have to think every politician in BFLO had their hands out-so the filmakers said-Screw it!Meanwhile Onatrio and Toronto have just blown up for city of choice for making movies.I havent read this article, but that sucks. I would have liked to see Buffalo and The Bills featured in a film, cements their legacy-good or bad...However- Kevin Costner just plain sucks. the guy peaked 20 years ago and he isnt a draw anymore. Im OK with Kevin Costner and Bruce Willis hanging it up and never seeing them in a film again-"It's Over Johnny!"

Makes sense to me. We're NY, you should pay extra to live and play here!
Mr. WEO Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I hope this movie sucks Well if it was about Buffalo Bills Draft Day, it would have been more of a disaster movie--- like Towering Inferno or The Poseidon Adventure.
26CornerBlitz Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 (edited) Well if it was about Buffalo Bills Draft Day, it would have been more of a disaster movie--- like Towering Inferno or The Poseidon Adventure. Wasn't OJ in that? Edited March 5, 2013 by 26CornerBlitz
