3rdnlng Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 That person doesn't shoulder the blame, but they're still an idiot. Just like if I walk around Arbor Hill here in Albany flashing a Rolex on my wrist, I'm an idiot. Making yourself an easy target is stupid, plain and simple. This goes doubly when it's not just your silly possessions at stake. Do I wish there were no robbers/burglars or rapists in the world? Yeah, but that doesn't make it so. And just because I don't deserve to be robbed doesn't mean I won't be. What if you are robbed of your virginity and loved every moment of it, is it still a crime?

Not only was her message wrong, but she delivered it by shouting everyone else down. Made me feel like giving the one in the blue dress a good hug.

I attended a rape training class once... ...well, actually a "rape crisis" training class. But the first thing the instructor did was say "Welcome to rape training," which kind-of told me the class wasn't really going to be worth much...
