RalphOP83 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Looks like he's interested in leaving the giants. Wants a fresh start. He has the ideal size 6'7" and 220lbs. Any interest?
Captain Hindsight Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Why couldnt he get into the lineup when Nicks was hurt?
Numark Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Why couldnt he get into the lineup when Nicks was hurt? I believe he did and then had concussion issues. I think
CarolinaBill Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 There should be interest on our part, a big , Young red zone threat like Barden who should come relatively cheap.
RalphOP83 Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 He had a 9 catch 138 yd game when nicks was injured.
Rob's House Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 He's intriguing. Great size, decent draft position (3rd rd?), moves well for such a big guy. Outside of his one big game he hasn't done much, but he's also been buried on a pretty solid depth chart.
CarolinaBill Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Coming out of Cal-Poly he was a raw but talented prospect. Aside from the advantageous price tag, the fact that he has a few yrs tenured and has learned the subtleties off the game should be a boon to our WR group. It gives our QB that BIG downfield and crossing threat to pair with TJs straight line speed and Stevie as the premiere possession guy.
Maury Ballstein Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Why couldnt he get into the lineup when Nicks was hurt? He did and had a huge game. Then that was bout it. Went off vs panthers iirc
JPS Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 You can't teach size. The Bills should be interested.
Maddog69 Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 There should be interest on our part, a big , Young red zone threat like Barden who should come relatively cheap. "Redzone threat"? He has exactly ZERO touchdowns in his 4 years NFL career. 29 games. 29 catches. ZERO TDs
McBeane Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 I would like to see us show interest in him. He is young, big and hasn't had much of a chance to prove himself (as has been alluded to multiple times up-thread). He would be pretty cheap and nice to have on the roster at the very least.
CarolinaBill Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 "Redzone threat"? He has exactly ZERO touchdowns in his 4 years NFL career. 29 games. 29 catches. ZERO TDs From a physical standpoint, one would assume that a guy 6'6 would be looked at in the red zone if he were on the field in those situations.

mob16151 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Never heard of him. Claimed he defeated the hittites at the Battle of Kadesh, one of the earliest uses of propaganda in recorded history. Hope that helped.

mob16151 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Didn't he also invent the first lambskin condom? Possibly, but back in the good old days contraception was generally the womans responsibility. I think the earliest condoms on record are from medieval times. We should ask Ye Ole,I believe he was born around Ramses time lol. jk
