KOKBILLS Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Fair enough. I am too, and I agree. Like you, I also have concerns about Austin's size. If anyone is going to buck the odds, I feel like it's going to be him. In a strange way, the guy reminds me of Allen Iverson (high school aside). That said, if someone offers up a trade to take him at 8, I say make the deal and grab the extra picks. Go Bills! GO BILLS!!!
NoSaint Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Parrish was healthy in college too... During a 5 game losing streak, Austin averaged 10 YPC or less. Parrish had fewer college touches in his career than Austin had last year. Not really apples to apples. Austin's taken a lot of hits
peterlaw Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Not best pleased. At least Tavon is not the AFC. Looking forward to seeing more of Brad Smith & TJ Graham this year. Genius.
Nitro Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 I am a fan of Tavon Austin. I did not think that he would go to the Bills at 8 but he still went there. Buddy and staff did good by picking a 2nd and a 7th, Swapping 3rds no big deal.
dave mcbride Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Good trade by the bills, but austin is in fact a great prospect. Good move by the rams too.
Kirby Jackson Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Good trade...picked up a 2nd and kept Austin out if the division
Dawgg Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Good trade...picked up a 2nd and kept Austin out if the division Called it. Great move by the Bills.
greenmohawk Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Too small, won't run wild in the NFL when he gets smacked around. We need some big receivers like Buddy says every year, but the WR class looks pretty weak. Let Marcus Easley and TJG loose and let's see what they do. Plus grab a couple of pass catchn' tightends in the draft.
drnykterstein Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Good trade...picked up a 2nd and kept Austin out if the division We absolutely screwed over the Jets by trading that pick to the Rams. By all accounts, Jets wanted Austin badly. Probably ruined their whole weekend.
