Buffalo Barbarian Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Harper is a beast I hope we get this kid no matter what.
CarolinaBill Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Ill Throw these 2 kids names into the hat.... Aaron Dobson and Stedman Bailey " He looks a lot like a poor man's version of A.J. Green coming out of Georgia except that he lacks Green's explosiveness and top end play-making speed. He is a legitimate No. 1 WR prospect for the NFL level." http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/college_player_scouting_report.html&player=42242 http://nflsfuture.com/2013/02/12/stedman-bailey-scouting-report/
biggerdaddynj Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Harper was timed at 4.47-4.49 at his pro day--not too shabby for a 6'1" 229 lb WR. Probably gone in the 4th but if he lasted 'til the 5th that would be nice. His teammate Arthur Brown OLB did well too. And boy do we need LB'ers. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/blog/rob-rang/21862387/pro-days-ksus-brown-harper-quiet-critics-with-impressive-workout
BillsFanInKansas Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Ok, side story: My wife works with Chris Harpers mom. I'm from Kansas. My wife got to meet Chris back in December. She tells me she is standing next to him and I tell her to tell Chris he would look good in a Bills uniform. I didn't think she would do, but she did. Let's just say he wasn't too excited about playing in Buffalo. Harper was timed at 4.47-4.49 at his pro day--not too shabby for a 6'1" 229 lb WR. Bryce was all about the media attention when in high school around here. It was sick. Arthur seemed more laid back. Looks like Arthur's stock is moving up into the first round now. Doubt he ends up a Bill, unless we trade back, which we should do. So many holes to fill, we need all the draft picks we can get.
mrags Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Guy looks like a physical beast. If love to take a shot at him. In later rounds perhaps. And if he doesn't like it, screw him. Maybe Stevie can school him on the advantages of being in Buffalo.

Anyone of these guys should get down on their knees and thank their lucky stars that they get a chance to play pro ball--no matter where. Wish we could get Arthur but ain't happening--maybe Jamie Collins or Zaviar Gooden, etc...
