JPS Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Isn't he more of a 4-3 end? I see him in Philly, NYGiants or maybe SF. He's just not a linebacker and I think his losing a step could be due to a new scheme. If I'm a 4-3 coach and I'm looking for pass rush, I'd bring Freeney in without hesitation.
White Linen Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Why do we think we should sign people even if they don't fit our scheme?
RyanC883 Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I like the idea of bringing him in if the price is right. We are running TWO schemes, 4-3 and 3-4. He would play on the 4-3 package, and could help with the development of Moore and Anderson.

Anderson isn't exactly young, what exactly is freeney going to show him that mario williams can't? The only thing freeney would do is take away from their playing time, which is the most important thing for a players development. I'm fairly confident that a healthy anderson will outproduce freeney at this point in their careers. No thanks X100
