Just Jack Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 you'll make it if you're a "celebrity"...... http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/kim_kanye_fly_nonstop_OvYmnW2AcfMvrRHhsVFYYI but others on your flight that is delayed may not like it.
dayman Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 lol...are we sure the delay was b/c they late/being TSA searched?
Marv's Neighbor Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 They by-passed Security. If any of us had done that we'd be trying to make Bail!
ExiledInIllinois Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 They by-passed Security. If any of us had done that we'd be trying to make Bail! I wondered about that. It was unsolicited, the airline employee came up to them and hustled them through w/their security clearance. Would a "common person" really be in trouble if the same exact thing happen?

The Poojer Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 why would travelers(celebs or schlubs) be in trouble if the employees are the ones that initiated this...they did nothing wrong
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 I'm more amazed her ass can fit in an airplane seat.
ExiledInIllinois Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Yes. :-( Kinda reminds me of the scene from Shawshank where the warden takes Tommy outside of the prison walls "for a talk." why would travelers(celebs or schlubs) be in trouble if the employees are the ones that initiated this...they did nothing wrong That is what I was wondering.
Marv's Neighbor Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Depending on the Airport Rules, which are approved by TSA, this would be a violation, and the employee could lose their SIDA Badge for this. In most cases, no Badge, No Job. Escorted or not, they were passengers and are subject to screening per TSA Regs. In this situation, TSA was agreeable to search the passengers inside the Sterile Atrea. They could have made them go back to the Check Point for screening. If they were unable to locate the passengers, they could have cleared the whole concourse for re-screening. Escorting only allows employees to move contractors, vendors or non-badged employees through Sterile Areas but is never used to bypass security. In order to get an Airport SIDA Badge the employee must be finger printed, pass a background check, obtain a Threat Assessment from TSA, and be approved by an Airport Security Coordinator. They don't just hand em out! It's a lot of BS BUT, it is what it is, like it or not.
Chef Jim Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 why would travelers(celebs or schlubs) be in trouble if the employees are the ones that initiated this...they did nothing wrong You walk out of store with a TV you didn't pay for and an employee held the door open for you are you in trouble? There's your answer.
The Poojer Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 how about if the employee takes the tv off the shelf and carries it out the door for you, all the while telling you not to worry about it(ie using access badges as a substitute for that implied approval) ... Johnny Hammersticks Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I'm more amazed her ass can fit in an airplane seat. C'mon folks....they're celebrities...they're better than us regular folk.
Chef Jim Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 how about if the employee takes the tv off the shelf and carries it out the door for you, all the while telling you not to worry about it(ie using access badges as a substitute for that implied approval) ... You're still involved in a crime just as someone bypassing TSA security.
