This CBS Sports, Pat Kirwan report is kind of interesting.

Jonathan Vilma(He's 30 now) would be interesting. Like anyone else?

This one on OLmen too.

Actually, there are quite a few guys that could be available that could be of use to us assuming most of the guys they predict become available too. I would like to see us any of these guys for veteran presence and to bring some intensity, swagger, or leadership to this D that sorely needs it:

Vilma - can still play, not the same as he once was, but would bring some veteran experience to the young guys and still be a starter for us.

Osi - would be nice compliment to Mario, but Mark Anderson contract probably prevents this from happening.

Beason - This would probably be my favorite addition if it wasn't for his injury history last 2 years. He was healthy most of his career since then, so I would take a chance on him.

Bailey - I know Champ is up there, but man what an impact this guy could be on Gilmore and Brooks. That alone would be reason enough, but on top of that he still played at a high level this year.

Nnamdi - Another guy who could help develop our younger DB's. Him and Gilmore, with Brooks in the slot. But only at right price as he sure seemed like he had lost a step last year or two in Philly.

Harrison - He is not the same player, he is older for sure, but man could this team use some damn attitude on defense. Feel like his best value would be bringing some ferocity and attitude for our younger guys to feed off of. Nigel I think would benefit the most from his presence. He is a long shot for sure though given his age and a new regime coming in.

i think namdi would be a really good fit for us. philly blew it with him by making him play a zone style of D when he was a man cover specialist. it was like making revis play zone. complete waste of the guy
