The Big Cat Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Barnet: not a surprise. Wilson: a surprise
Jauronimo Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 He was THE WORST PLAYER ON OUR DEFENSE last year. It's the right move. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/151791-thank-you-and-goodbye/#entry2610254 Welcome back! How long until you completely backtrack and claim to have never quit in the first place?
NastyNateSoldiers Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 George Wilson just got cut also. When is the Teflon don Chris Kelsey gonna get cut. We can save another 5mil on the cap
BringBackFergy Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 (edited) Kelsay. Kelsay. Kelsay. Kelsay ranks right up there as a friendly, intelligent young man who is a bit past prime...much like The Senator. That's who I was thinking of as well. I think most guys on here are thinking this also. Edited February 11, 2013 by BringBackFergy
BuffaloWings Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 George Wilson just got cut also. When is the Teflon don Chris Kelsey gonna get cut. We can save another 5mil on the cap Kelsay has to have something on Ralph Wilson to be hanging on this long. Yeah, great leader & locker room guy, but seriously....
Buffalo Barbarian Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 He was a leader on a historically bad defense. He's past his prime, and this move will provide cap space, I like it. this and good luck Nick

The Big Cat Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 If Chris Kelsay survives this blood bath then only one thing can be true: he has photos linking Ralph to the JFK assassination and/or 9/11 and/or the death of Anna Nicole Smith. -or- He really is a good player, and we now have three consecutive regimes (four if you count the one that drafted him) to confirm. But seriously, the former seems to be more realistic at this point.
Dean Cain Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Kelsay had a prime? 32.5 sacks are good for #6 overall sacker from the 2003 draft.

BuffaloWings Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Barnet: not a surprise. Wilson: a surprise Only slightly, IMO. He had a bad year in 2012 and isn't exactly young anymore...though at 31, isn't THAT old, either.
Meathead Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 last season nick hit the wall harder than amanda bynes hits cop cars yes thats the second time ive used that joke. its a good one and i didnt even get one measely lol before. so im gonna keep using it until one of you ungrateful bastards gives me a lol. and it better be a real one, no fake lols, you dont necessarily have to give me a rofl or lmao unless you want to but i do require at least a real lol
BringBackFergy Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 George Wilson just got cut also. When is the Teflon don Chris Kelsey gonna get cut. We can save another 5mil on the cap Brad Smith...I mean I loved the kickoff return and a few nice catches but for a guy who only sees the field 10% of the game, $3-4 million is a hefty price tag.
Maury Ballstein Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 time for Aaron Williams to play some safety!
KollegeStudnet Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 I still think Barnett played through several injuries last season and that of which was his downfall in 2012. Several times watching games after week 7...he seemed to have a hard time pivoting/advancing on tackles and coverage plays I bid him good luck and wish him the best

Maddog69 Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Wow. Two decent veterans. I'm a bit surprised that they are getting cut now. I would not have been surprised if they were final cuts at roster cutdown time, but getting cut this early is surprising since neither provides big cap savings. Oh well, let the roster shuffle begin. Maybe making room for the incoming influx of former Jets?
