duey Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/news;_ylc=X3...ov=ap&type=lgns So Jerry Gray is interested in the SU job and visa versa. If Jerry has NFL head coaching aspirations, I'm not sure this is the best move for him. There certainly has been a major trend as of late in the NFL of hiring successful defensive coordinators (i.e. Herm Edwards, Greg Williams :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: , Marvin Lewis), so I'm thinking that he should stick with the Bills one more year, have the D be in the league top five again, and he could probably be a top head coaching candidate next year. SU needs a lot of work right now to turn things around. I think he would be in a much more positive position staying here and waiting until next year.
