Mark Vader Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 musta missed that. was he worse than jerry crafts tho? i considered him but i dont remember him being as bad as tillman and his stats were better Jerry Crafts was an undrafted free agent, who was seen as a project, very raw out of college. Was primarily a back-up, not a good player but I doubt anyone had delusions he would be an all-pro. Joe Panos was a proven NFL veteran who had spent time with the Eagles and was considered a good pick-up by the Bills in free agency. In his short time here, he did very little, looked out of place and at times invisible. A wasted investment. IMO, Panos was much worse than Crafts.
Offside Number 76 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Good call on Euhus. Forgot about him. He was forgettable.
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 panos and crafts are a close call. they started at the same time on opposite sides. but since the tie breaker goes to higher expectations im fine with panos being the winner/loser seems like we should be able to find somebody worse than both of them tho and we still have nobody worse than pizzaboy at M/ILB also would like to find somebody worse than FB Booker Moore
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Seems like Corey Louchiey deserves a nomination. Here's a third-rounder drafted when we needed a tackle in those years in the desert post-Wolford. He sucked. Panos sucked, too, but they got a 16-game season out of him and he was lost to injury more than anything else. Crafts was an 11th round scrap heap pickup, so I think if we're adhering to the expectations / performance criteria, Louchiey edges him.

Chris Keating? I'm looking... How about: FB Carwell Gardner Gardner was a hell of a blocking back, IIRC.
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 How about: FB Carwell Gardner Rodney Wright, Daimon Shelton both were way worse.

l< j Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I can't decide if I am enjoying this thread or not.
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 yeah great point. im going with him over panos unless somebody objects and makes a case I'm making the mistake of comparing him to guards, but you've got to go with your worst. I am definitely enjoying this in a cathartic way.
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 Rodney Wright the only rodney wright i can find was a wr. there is no rodney wright at all on PFR
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 the only rodney wright i can find was a wr. there is no rodney wright at all on PFR Sorry, Dwayne Wright. Ralph's insisted selection in Round 4. Selected later in that draft: Bushrod (tackle from the Saints), Doug Free, Scott Chandler, Kevin Boss, Brent Celek, Ahmad Bradshaw. Rodney Wright was a do-nothing WR 7th rounder from Fresno State. I think he got arrested.
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 I'm making the mistake of comparing him to guards, but you've got to go with your worst. oh crap i got confused with another page and had him as a guard. no its gotta be a guard to we are going back to panos. i dont think louchiey can beat out what we have at tackle
Mark Vader Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Rodney Wright, Daimon Shelton both were way worse. How about Larry Kinnebrew?
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 How about Larry Kinnebrew? I thought about him, too. He has a similar career arc to Panos. Some production with another team, sucked here.
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 Sorry, Dwayne Wright. oh yeah. ok might as well go with him How about Larry Kinnebrew? more of a rushing FB and was actually pretty good
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I still feel like there has to be someone worse than Tim Anderson.
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 uh oh did wright ever start at FB? it says he didnt but idk if they list FBs as starters
Mark Vader Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 oh yeah. ok might as well go with him more of a rushing FB and was actually pretty good He was good with the Bengals. Terrible with us.
