Nitro Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Older Bills fand will recall the late 60s and early 70s types like Remi Prudhomme-C, Richard Cheek-G, and Walt Patulski-DE.
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 FOUR FREAKING PAGES IN and no one has mentioned Mike Pucillo? FOR SHAME. PUCILLO THE WORST.
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 oh yeah pucillo, he was pretty bad. i think he replaces reyes
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 oh yeah pucillo, he was pretty bad. i think he replaces reyes I feel like I deserve an award for sitting and enduring watching that shlub try to play professional football. Duke Preston also deserves the opposite of major props for hiking the ball into his own a$$.
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 Older Bills fand will recall the late 60s and early 70s types like Remi Prudhomme-C, Richard Cheek-G, and Walt Patulski-DE. i cant find any evidence of whether they started or not and even if they did stats are virtually non-existent. since i didnt see them play myself i cant really make any determination
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 There had to have been some golden ones in there. This should be another thread, but I wonder if people from the 60s and 70s saw worse football then than we are seeing today, or if this is truly an all-time low.
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 we need somebody for HB, OLB, M/ILB, and P
Maury Ballstein Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I think Keith Ellison wants to play some lb no ?
Nitro Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 i cant find any evidence of whether they started or not and even if they did stats are virtually non-existent. since i didnt see them play myself i cant really make any determination I was going to game back then. Bruce Jarvis replaced Remi at center in mid season. Richard Cheek was a turnstile in his 1 season. Walt was a overall number 1 draft choice. Considered 27th biggest NFL bust by ESPN.
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 i thought of ellison but i wouldnt call him bad. he played here for quite a while and did decent. im pretty sure we can come up with somebody worse how about pizza boy, what was his name, john digorgio i hate to say it but we currently have nobody else at olb and chris kelsay was pretty horrible when he tried that. hes a good guy and decent DE so i dont want to include him but if we dont come up with anybody else ... I was going to game back then. Bruce Jarvis replaced Remi at center in mid season. Richard Cheek was a turnstile in his 1 season. Walt was a overall number 1 draft choice. Considered 27th biggest NFL bust by ESPN. thats cool but id still need some specific evidence since i cant make that judgment myself. do you have a link to that espn analysis on walt? gonna be hard to beat maybin and flowers, though
jjmac Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I can't believe there's no John Parella or James Patton.
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 neither parella or patton started for the bills
Steve O Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I can't believe there's no John Parella or James Patton. Even though the Bills gave up on him Parella had a 12 year career, not exactly a bust.
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 i wanted to list shaud williams but he never started
jjmac Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Even though the Bills gave up on him Parella had a 12 year career, not exactly a bust. But he was a bust...for for the Bills. What did he do for us?
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 perhaps, but he never started for the bills http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/ParrJo20.htm
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 RB: Joe Burns Ive been trying to think of his name all day so i went and scoured pro football reference and finally came up with it. he started one game in 03. very slow imo, not particularly powerful, career 3.0 average still need a punter
Meathead Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 was corey moore an ILB or OLB i cant remember
