Drewgetz Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 It's seems that with the cap the way it is with the Bills having so much more room then the Jets ($20.6M vs $19.4M) and the Bills having a number of the Jets old coaches we would be at an advantage of acquiring a number of Jets players bound to be released. Assuming the players liked their coaches the Bills might get the pick of the litter out of NJ. Who do you think will be released by the Jets and of them who would you like at OBD?
Captain Hindsight Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Mike Devito Dustin Keller LaRon Landry The only players I'd be happy to see. Revis would be nice too
missthe kgun Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Landry and Keller... Can't afford Revis!
RyanC883 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I can def see Keller ending up here. Of course I'd love Revis, but he will cost too much, better to resign Byrd and Levitre and draft a CB in a later round, or see what Keenan Lewis from the Steelers would cost.
Magox Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Even though Landry would be nice, there really isn't nearly the need at that position as let's say a WR. Considering that Chandler could be questionable for next year, I'd say Keller would seem like an intriguing prospect to become our TE.
RyanC883 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Landry, Keller and Lewis from Steelers. Plugs a lot of holes there, and the rest (QB, LB) are addressed in the draft.
jcbillsfan Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Devito Pace. Fills a need in the short term Keller
Drewgetz Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 What? No interest in Tebow?? Concerns about Keller's injury status?
FluffHead Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Testeverde? Testaverde is still questionable with the dreaded "general soreness" injury
truth on hold Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Keller is too inconsistent. Would depend on what price he comes with but my sense it will be too much.
prissythecat Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Since a number of fans here like to cite win - loss percentage and "clutch " play in playoffs, why not Sanchez ? He's taken his team all the way to the AFC championship twice !

Drewgetz Posted February 9, 2013 Author Posted February 9, 2013 "The Daily News is reporting that Scott, Calvin Pace and Jason Smith will be cut before the 2013 salary cap kicks in for the start of the signing period on March 12. None of the moves is a surprise. They represent a combined cap savings of $27.7 million." Link Maybe they won't be so hard pressed to release Keller and Landry after all.

RuntheDamnBall Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Revis is a fever dream. I could see Landry ending up in B-lo, especially if for some reason they decide to let Byrd go. Actually, it would be the only reason to let Byrd go (and still not a very good one).
