Tipster19 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 (edited) A valid complement to Stevie? I just ran across a little news blurp that Gin is a UFA. His father thinks that he's not being used properly and that he needs to find a "home". The thought occurred to me that he just might be a valid #2 WR for our offense and if we were not to re-sign McKelvin that he would also be a great option for our return game. Thoughts? He's not so different from T.J. Graham, except with a known return element to his game. If he's cheap and McKelvin's expensive, I'd bring him in.
Captain Hindsight Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 He is like the 6th WR on the niners. It be tough for him to jump up to number two here. I think he only had two catches this past season. Is he even considered a WR?
Simon Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I'm not remotely interested but this is a great song ; - )
Big C Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Hester is looking to leave Chicago. I think he is both a better WR and kick returner than Ginn, though Ginn is younger.
Rob's House Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I don't care to see any 2nd rate or 1 dimensional receivers added. We have plenty of those. We need another high end WR.
NewEra Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Ted ginn and devin Hester? I'd rather keep what we have and pay them next to nothing. Neither guy would be much of an upgrade
Kkspike Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Remember when he played on the fins and he torch McGee for 175 yards. McGee had a bum knee and played 12 yards off Ginn all game.Mcfumble was a rookie and they never gave him a chance.
Sisyphean Bills Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I'd take him over that knucklehead Young Sr.
bbb Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Why didn't Ginn look to pitch back the ball on his last return. There was no time left!
Niagara Bill Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Why didn't Ginn look to pitch back the ball on his last return. There was no time left! Because Ginn ius a selfess bum, always has been in college and even in the NFL..He is also afraid and unwilling to give himself up for the team, he wanted to go down on that play so fast so he didn't get hurt. He is a waste of a uniform.
VirginiaMike Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Not interested in the least. I was not impressed in college and he's done nothing in the NFL to change my opinion.

If his dad thinks so, it must be true
C.Biscuit97 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Omly if we can get the whole Ginn family too. Let's reunited the Ginn-Beck combo. They're about ready to finally break out.
BringBackFergy Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Brad Smith + Ruvell Martin + Ted Ginn = Championship!!!

AND, his mother says he's really a good boy. I'm having Roscoe Parrish flashbacks here.
